High key restaurant with amazing food and great customer service. The ribs were literally fall off the bone and the mashed... potatoes was excellent! They have specials to save you a few bucks! Also the crab legs (not pictured) were good but not as tastywithout a dipping sauce. I wasn?t a huge fan of the salad but most entrees come with one or a soup.There are so many items tochoose from! My wife and I had our Anniversary dinner here. My wife had Captain Sully's Trio, Scallops, Shrimp, and Haddock, with a twice... baked potato. I had a stuffed tenderloin with jalapeño and garlic butter, and potato skins we both had a southern old fashionedsweet. They have awesome food friendly staff a lot of ways they prepare the fish about 13 of them I think prime rib was pretty awesome... it gets packed fast very busy popular place make a reservation is my recommendation. It's a good family restaurant so kids aremore than welcome Read more

Red Ox Thurs. Dec 30th 5pm Dinner for 6 adults. We were in a smaller room off the entrance and noise was not an issue.... Reservations got us seated promptly. Waitress Jessica was excellent! Started with appetizers of Fried Pickles, and Rings &shrooms which were all delicious. Bar service was very timely and we ordered a variety. Jessica kept checking for refills ??.The broccoli cheese soup was delicious (had onions in it), French Onion Soup very delicious. Garden salad was a healthyportion with plenty of dressing (next time I will get it on the side). Prime Rib was Awesome! The bacon wrapped crab stuffedshrimp were alright but next time I will just get the broiled shrimp. Twice baked potato had great flavor! Jalapeño tempurashrimp were very good (leftovers reheated in air fryer were also very good). Shrimp and scallop jambalaya had good flavor. RedRussian sauce Kabob?s were delicious and they were accommodating by giving him a small taste of the sauce ahead of time to seeif he really wanted to order it. Salmon with the Jack Daniels glaze was amazing (part of a combo with 10 oz steak.) No roomleft for desert, we never felt rushed, very attentive staff, we all would recommend The Red Ox, but make reservations, go early,plan on taking home leftovers. Read more

The ambiance is not dissimilar to a high school cafeteria. There is no music and it's essentially a room full of shouting... people. The prime rib was good. The crab cakes were the worst I've ever had, doughy like flour or bread crumbs, obviouslywasn't expecting real crab but it was more of a half cooked pancake than any seafood at all. The mashed potatoes were the boxedkind you add water too. Their Cajun style is whatever you order sprinkled with Cajun spices, not blackened as one would expect.
