I've gone to this Exact Denny's for over 2 decades now. My Family took me there for special occasions when I couldn't order on... my own- nowadays I'd take all my best friends/relationships. This Denny's was a staple of the Community- a Landmark for somany. I remember arguing with friends regarding the "wind-mill" and if it ever truly spun- or if was a figment of our childhoodimaginations. The view's of the park/Mountains is unforgettable. The service is impeccable, and the quality is as you'd expectfrom such sweet individuals- cooked with care. I'd reccomend this Denny's to Everyone- for any occasion. I truly hope theyremain open. This place has only gone further and further down hill. This location has disappointed me so many times over the years. I kept... coming back because it's just an easy place to go to. the service is always bad. You can tell the servers don't want to bethere. Like I get it, it's not a great upstanding job but I'm not a very mean or picky customer. I think this was my last timecoming in. The server I had talked kinda fast and with his accent I had to really listen in on what he meant. Even my boyfriendlooked at me like "what did he say?" We tried not to give him a hard time though so we just continued on. I ordered the new CaliBurrito. After a few bites I couldn't believe how much cilantro there was. I told the server later on my burrito had so muchcilantro in it, and even showed him the pile on my plate. He gave me a strange look like told me " yeah. So next time, just askfor less. They tend to do that with the cilantro." Like??? Issa new item, how was I supposed to know?? I dont mind some cilantro(like it says on the description) but it was used like a lettuce . The whole burrito didn't even hold up on it's own! i had torewrap it to hold it together to eat it. I didn't even finish first half I started. Not to mention, the flavor was basic. Saveyour money. I try not to blame the servers for what the kitchen does but I was clearly not okay with what I got and wasntoffered anything else.. Not a remade burrito or a different item to replace it. I always feel awkward and bi**hy to send thingsback so I just stayed quiet. But yeah. That whole experience just sucked. Come here for disappointment and you'll find it. Read more
Nice to visit this historic building. Really happy Denny's made such a sizable commitment to preserve it and the turning wind... mill. Oh, my milkshake was perfect...and with the extra that came to the table with it. This was a must stop in and eat here onour vacation to this area. Fun and tasty. Read more
