The story on the wall says it all. It's Japanese ramen with a Taiwanese twist. Tbh, at first I thought this was just another... Asian fusion restaurant. But boy, was I wrong! From the appetizers to the sides, even to the noodles itself, all were actuallypretty good. I honestly loved their Takoyaki, I've been trying lots of places around SoCal, and I must say, it was probably thebest and the closest flavor to what I had in Japan. Oh, so buttery and creamy. Speaking of the Mazesoba, I would recommendgetting their Deluxe Nagoya mazesoba and adding $1.49 for their bone broth. It reminded me of dry noodle combos in Taiwan (drynoodle+soup+sides). The noodles were bouncy and al dente, and the broth was flavorful. Would highly recommend following therecommended steps to mix the egg yolk thoroughly with vinegar. So good! All In all, they really nailed it with a good twist. Some might think the pork belly was not as tender as other ramen places. But I don't care lol. Overall, it was a good bowl ofcarbs that I enjoyed on my cheat day! Yum! Read more

Great ramen! Ramen has a good balance of softenes and chewyness. The sauce has so many layers of flavors and aromas, the fish... powder gives it a nice umami taste. On its on is delicious, then addition of vinegar gives the ramen a whole different (yummy)taste! Original is more than enough to fill me up. Read more

Great service, great food, and very filling! Came on a Wednesday evening and we were sat right away. They offer complimentary... white rice at almost the end of your meal as the traditional Japanese way. Love that they keep and respect that culture here inUSA. Read more

One of the few mazesoba/mazeudon available in the larger Los Angeles area. The food here is fantastic with excellent service.... Lots of free parking in the lot. There can be a slight wait, but it's worth it. I recommend the Deluxe Nagoya Mazesoba (no needto add brotha) and Iced Matcha Latte. Must try if you're a fan of ramen. Expect to pay $25-30 per person. Tasty place! Very yummy! I’ve never had this style of noodles before, and I’m disappointed I didn’t have this sooner.... This was so good! They even give you a small bowl of rice to finish off the remaining sauce, meat, and whatever garnishes youhave left in your bowl. Read more

Truly a one of a kind experience. Noodles so uniquely delicious they incite cravings on the regular. This place is magic. Just... wish I was privileged enough to live closer. Also, the takoyaki, absolutely divine. Read more

I've lived in Japan as a kid and I'm no amateur to the food, but this particular type of dish that they serve here was something... completely new to me. I didn't want to go too hearty and just got The Original bowl and I thought I would still be a bit hungrythinking I should have gone with the Deluxe but that was definitely not the case. I was completely stuffed but the noodles wereso good I practically slurped my way through these in an instant. If you're familiar with Japanese food but haven't tried thisstyle of noodles, this should be the first place you stop into because this will be my new staple. Read more

Unexpected delicious fusion food. These noodles are as if dan dan noodles were a carbonara, seasoned for a milder Japanese taste... and then topped like ramen yet served with a thicker udon noodle. Was much more filling than I expected and leftover heated upbetter than I imagined. The karage, croquettes, and matcha tea were also very good. The karage is crispy and well seasoned, thecroquettes are creamy and perfectly coated, the matcha latte is thick and rich. IMO due to the richness of the sauce and eggyolk, the deluxe bowl has a bit too much protein going on (poached egg, soft boiled egg, char sui pork, and taiwanese meatsauce) so I prefer the original (poached egg and meat sauce). Also due to the richness, I think the vinegar is key for cuttingthrough the flavor. It becomes a bit one dimensional if you don’t add the vinegar. Overall excellent experience Read more
