I ordered my food. I attempted to give the manager feedback and she was very dismissive. I'm not a man but staff kept referring... to me as if I was a man. I politely asked them and they responded very glib and dismissively. I was insulted and could notenjoy my food. My food was cold after waiting fifteen minutes. I had to wait another 15 minutes. I only order 2 items. I didfuss about the initial wait because I thought that meant the food would be fresh and hot. Among the worst experiences that Ihave had at a McDonald's. Read more
Lobby was unlocked but it was supposed to be locked since they close their indoor dining at only 8PM. Pretty early. Staff were... rude, you cannot walk-through the drive-through, and they literally slammed the door shut. (We were staying at a nearby hotel)So the 8 of us went elsewhere and you can bet we will not stop at this McD for breakfast either. Read more
It is under remodel for quite awhile and alot doesn't work there no indoor dining or orders on the drive through the speakers... and microphone do not work so you order at the first window and pick up at the second window I was in the drive through for 35minutes with only 3 other cars it takes along time to get your food when you wait to get to the order window which also takesawhile good service but definitely not "Fast Food' Read more
Save your money and time from the manger to the employees they are rude. All I wanted was a coffee and sandwich because I?m a... truck driver I couldn?t drive thru, only the drive thru is open. We ordered two Mc fish sandwiches and when we got them there was hardly any tarter sauce actually on the sandwiches but it was... all over the inside of the box. I came back and brought it to the manager on duties attention and showed them my picture andsaid both sandwiches were like this and she said ok, not even a care. I would like to preface this review by stating upfront that it is in no way hyperbolic. This is the best McDonald's in the... entire universe. I don't know if there are any other planets that have Mcdonald's, and I don't really want to think about thattoo much, but I can say without hesitation that the Arcata McDonald's is the best. In the morning I am greeted with a veryexpedient crew who always gets my orders perfectly right and stacks them in the bag with consideration to the weight ofthings. The sandwiches are always made like they are for a McDonald's-propaganda photo shoot. Whoever is running this place hasthem whipped very well into shape. I'm also greeted frequently by a person on the microphone in the morning who speaks with anAustralian accent sometimes. It's magic. People like him are helping this pandemic go by a little easier, adding some levity tothe morning of folks who are willing to have it. It was just a subtle change of his accent before I engaged with him, and thenit became a nice little exchange of impersonations within the natural gaps in the transaction. When it comes to the night crewthey are just as on fire if not more so. The sandwiches are always picture perfect, the people are always cordial, no matter thedifficulties they may be having, and my food is always hot and fresh. And when I speak of difficulties that they may be havingI mean to say that at this particular location I have been here when there were 25 cars in the Drive-Thru at 2:00 a.m.. I havealso been here when there were a number of police vehicles with their lights on in the hotel parking-lot immediately adjacent tothe drive-in line and it was like some sort of SWAT team response. Throughout that particular experience Employee Lizamaintained the poise of a bomb unit technician, even through my frantic questioning as to what may be going on. Lacks professionalism. Bad attitude when they messed up my order, didn't give me a receipt to confirm my order because they... would see they had it wrong. Employee called a mean manager over instead of just fixing my order. It's like they want people tobe combative or they assume someone is when speaking up for what they paid for.
