Wow!!! I was so surprised at the slice of winery heaven behind the humble wooden gate. Seriously an AMAZING and super chill,... comfy winery with HUGE outdoor seating area, killer food truck, and of course, GREAT WINE. I?ve really enjoyed going to Septentrio in the past, it?s a very cool and hip spot for a small town like Arcata, which is... definitely lacking in quality dining and drinking experiences. That being said, today I ordered the fried chicken from theirfood truck and while eating I realized the entire center was RAW! For 22$ I was served RAW CHICKEN?! I?m very disappointed. Notokay.\n\nUpdate: Owner reached out to me immediately about my experience, and made things right. She was very kind and courteousand put a plan in place so that something like this never happens again. I really appreciated the good costumer service, a rarething in Humboldt. Read more
My new favorite place!!! The wine is wonderful and the environment is inviting. The food is great, I especially love the lamb... sliders.
