The food is wonderful! Wonderful atmosphere, very family and friend oriented. The only down falls of Murn?s has to be the hours... of operation and the wait times for food some days. I wish that Murn?s had dinner hours more than just Friday nights when theyhave catfish (which is AMAZING) and some days when you go in and order off the menu instead of the special it takesexceptionally longer than it should. That being said, I?m going to brag on the staff now. All of the staff from the waiters andwaitresses to the kitchen staff and owners; they are all FANTASTIC. I love going in there knowing that I?m going to see friendlyfaces and people and friends I?ve known for years. Murn?s is practically a staple here in Archer City. As soon as you step inside, Murn's is what you'd expect from a central small-town diner. Red vinyl booths, kitschy seasonal... dressing, familiar staff with familiar regulars, and generous servings of food. In a town of just over 1,800, it's one of fourdining options for someone just passing through; the others being Lucky's, Dairy Queen, and the Spur Hotel kitchen. Murn's isvery much a local staple, authentic as can be. Not a whit of conniving or concern for destination dining, and yet a destinationit surely is.
