I hadn't been here in awhile and met up with dinner friends. It is still a great little place. The pizza and salad are good.... Especially the French dressing. It is very good. I had the purple rider specify which is a very good pizza. It was a thin crustpizza. Read more
Great dining experience, the food was warm and tasty, with a nice selection of toppings and the side selections were great also.... The employees were very polite, courteous and attentive and made sure everything was good. The place was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking and conveniently located just off the Interstate. Disappointed. Pizza was burnt. Hard to eat. Little to no sauce. This Monicals is becoming a hit and miss ????
Happy for a gluten-free option, disappointed in the salad ..a couple olives or peppers would dress it up a bit not to mention... their version of of dressing wasnt what i expected . Stopped here for a late lunch / early dinner while on a long drive. Friendly staff and the monicals menu hit the spot. I had a... meatball sub that did not skimp on meatballs. The pleaser option with a salad is a great choice. I added the mozarella sticksand they were good as well. All in all I recommend this monicals. The building may be old but it's got great food (not justpizza) and friendly folks. Read more
Best thin crust pizza and worth the 11+ hour drive from Texas. I've been to several Monical's locations and Arcola is the best... every time. I always try to go as many times as possible during my visits back to Illinois. Read more
