I have been here many times now and whether you are dining in or taking out, it is always worth the wait. Follow everyone?s... suggestion to try the Amritsari Chole Kulche. It?s not too spicy for most and a great foray into Indian vegetarian and streetfood. My personal favorites are the mysore dosa and jalebi. So many different textures playing together in the dosa, and thecrispy crepe is always delicious. This restaurant has been very busy lately but I can see why. If you have to wait, I promiseit will be worth it! Read more

This place is hopping! We bopped in on a Friday night - and wow. Be prepared to wait. They took our name and cell, then we... headed to the nearby caribou coffee for pre dinner tea and chat. 30 minutes later we got our call and headed over. Well staffed, and very busy. There is a lot of to go orders - it was so nice to see an Indian restaurant busy! We loved the options andreally enjoyed our meals. Definitely will be back. Read more

We love our Indian food and this has to be one of the best stops yet! You choose you own spice/heat level for each dish. We had... the chicken vindaloo, Mango lassie(drink), Amritsari Chole Kulche and 1 serving of garlic naan. We look forward to our nextvisit as there are many more dishes we want. Restaurant was well kept and so were the restrooms. The staff were knowledgeableand helpful. Highly recommend! Read more

A nice Indian restaurant with authentic flavors and large quantities of food. Do not miss the iconic taj mahal beer to start... your meal . We were a party of six and got the vegetable platter , channa kulcha , chicken 65 , and the tawa chicken along witha lot of indian bread . To end our delicious journey, we got some ras malais and kesar kulfi . Everything was so delicious butmake sure you order less as the quantity of the food is a lot . Highly recommended if you are in the MSP area Read more

A very nice local family owned local restaurant. Freshly cooked food off the stove or oven. Impressively authentic. Warmhearted... owner couple greeted and talked to customers. Highly recommended dining in. Read more

The owner of this restaurant told me that he uses spices mixture from scratch. No wonder all cuisines tastes different and don't... have an overpowering use of spices. Which is why you don't leave feeling bloated with spices but only filled with food and freshingredients made from scratch-which is how I expect my food to be made. The staffers and owners have acted on their passion andit shows on the food and their hospitality. BTW, the owner also told me that he backs up his food with satisfaction guaranteed -not happy with food you will be issued a full refund! Now that's how food businesses should be done! I have tried over a dozenIndian restaurants in MN, I can proudly say: this is the BEST Indian restaurant in MN! Read more

This place has risen to top spot for us when it comes to Indian food in Minneapolis/St. Paul. If you are eating/ordering one... thing, its got to be Amritsari Kulcha, One of the best things I have eaten in cities, if you like spicy food go for level 4 butif not stick to lower numbers like 2 or 3. This place has real spice scale so be very careful if ordering 4s or 5s. Next fewdishes we ordered and enjoyed were Saag and Makki ki roti, sambhar dosa which were top notch too. A few curries we ordered werepretty average, so I recommend stick to street food and you will walk out loving this place. Read more
