My boyfriend and I ate here last night and while my crabcakes were soggy and gross his salmon was raw and they didn?t bother to... give him a new one. They just cut half of it off and then put the other half on the grill to cook the rest, it was veryoverpriced. Awful food. We will never be going back there. Read more

if i could do a negative star i would have!! waited over 2 hours and watched people bribe their way in. waited forever on our... drinks/food, which was way over priced and mediocre!! the owners and their staff/friends stood around drinking and ignoring thesituation...2 tables behind us didn't get cleared off for 30 minutes....poor management. i would never recommend this place toanyone!! The staff was friendly and that is about the only positives from our visit. The steak was over priced, thin and over charred.... All of the food lacked proper, or any, seasoning. That is definitely my last visit to this establishment. Read more

Lived in Ardmore for a year, and this was my first time trying Fireside out, heard nothing but wonderful reviews from friends.... Showed up later one Saturday evening around 8:30pm after a day on the lake and was seated within ten minutes. Service wassuperior and food was excellent. I accidentally filled up way too much on bread, so I got the fried shrimp for a lighter entreeand they were delectable. The stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer were also wonderful, and I don?t even like mushrooms!! The onlyreason for the docked star was they were all out of salad, so that was very unfortunate. Like c?mon, you?re a steakhouse on aSaturday night who has been doing this for years, how do you not know how much lettuce to order?? Anywho, our waitress was greatand she allowed us to substitute for a second side. Will be going back. Read more

As most comments indicate, it is pricey. But if you try it just one time you'll see why. The atmosphere is warm and inviting.... The staff are accommodating from your first step in to your last step out. The appetizers we ordered (crab cake and french onionsoup) were remarkably hot, freshly made in-house, and awesomely tasty. The aged steaks were tender, juicy, and perfectly cookedover hickory. I could go on and on; but my comments wouldn't change. It was a great culinary experience and one I hope to returnback to in the near future. Read more

Kind of a weak start but a strong finish. Just passing through and decided to grab a bite, found it online & took the exit. Nice... looking place, rustic style outside, dim/dated inside. Ordered stuffed mushrooms appetizer and it was burnt til black outside,completely raw/uncooked inside. Went ahead and waited for the entreès and they were both great. Top sirloin and pork chops bothcame out exactly as ordered, the sides were good, the salads were fresh and crisp. The waitress was friendly and attentivewithout being annoying at all. A little more expensive than your chain restaurants but worth it. Hopefully those mushrooms werejust a fluke. Read more
