Went to Rosa Mexicano for dinner while strolling through the Ardmore Square area. The vibe is very comforting and peaceful, and... the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We started with a couple non-alcoholic beverages. Blood Orange Spritzer is anamazingly refreshing drink. The chicken quesadillas are some of the best I have ever had. On to the entrees. The Duck Carnitasenchiladas topped with the mole pablano sauce was a bit sweet for my taste, but the flavor overall was amazing. I loved theSalmon Pipian. The sauce was savory, with the correct amount of spice. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Now to the star ofthe night. The phenomenal tres leches cake was the highlight of the whole meal. We ate the cake so fast that we were yearningfor more. We would've ordered another of we weren't already too full. Overall, an amazing place for a nice dinner. I haven't experienced this restaurant in person yet. I called because my collegaues were looking for a local happy hour. They... currently have no Happy Hour and don't expect to until June. Prime location, increased seating, middle of summer and no happyhour. Oh well. I plan on dining here soon, I will update when I do. UPDATE: I had the dining experience in June. We initiallywere going to sit inside but opted to sit outside. Staff was nice and friendly. Definitely can tell they're still learning,which is to be expected. Drinks were very good. Food was okay. Guac was delicious. Room for improvement growing pains ofcourse. I will return in the near future when most kinks have been worked through. Read more
Fantastic food, really tasty drinks. The table was thrilled with their meals, and we had great flan and tres-leches... desserts. Great outdoor space was available for the reasonable weather nights. Fun staff. Read more
Mexican fried rice was amazing, its big enough for two people. If you don't like cherry tomatoes tell them to not put them in... your dish. I also had the chicken tacos that was just okay. I love the fried rice more. Margaritas was good as well if you andyour party will order two each just get the pitcher. Our waiter Camille was great and helpful. Read more
We spent $90 for two appetizers, a kids meal and two cocktails. Not unusual for restaurants in the Main Line area, but we were... underwhelmed with the food. Everything seemed to be missing salt, except the tortilla chips. Service was okay and our server wasreally sweet, but for $90 I’d hope the food would be good too. Pictured is a $20 margarita. Long wait but great food. My mom had the gluten free quesadillas and said they were some of the best she ever had! Long wait... times and wish there were fajitas but great food otherwise. If you have never been to Rosa Mexicano, please get the guacamole,some of the best ever!! ???? Read more
Unorganized! As a new establishment this restaurant has a few lessons to learn. Clearly they have sufficient staffing but... training and communication have a way to go. After placing our order the incorrect drinks were delivered and then on twooccasions runners attempted to drop off apps that we had not ordered. Looking around we watched runners obliviously wonderaround in an attempt to deliver orders. Then we waited for our entree. When the waiter stopped by the 1st time to confirm myorder (20 minutes after we placed it) I took it with good will. But when they stopped by to ask 2 and 3 times more it gotconcerning. Now once the correct food arrived I'll advocate that the quality and presentation was great. Full disclosure we hadtwo waiters as one was in training so no disrespect to their efforts but looking around it was clear the communication betweenthe front and back of house was lacking. Sat at the bar. Service was on point. The food was outstanding. Was just coming in for a frozen mango margarita which BTW was in... my top 3 all time. Decided to go with tacos since it was Tuesdays. Everything about this place is great. Totally loved it andwill definitely be back. Read more
