Great local spot that has everything you could ask for: great staff and service, excellent food, and a very solid selection of... rotating drafts and cocktails. It's really awesome to have this place so close that offers a top notch experience in just aboutevery way! The food really is terrific, and the daily specials are always offering something new and exciting! Will continue tosupport Menotomy for as long as I'm in the area. Whether going for beers to watch the game, on a date for a quality meal, orwith friends to catch some live music, this place has it all! Read more
Enjoyed Menotomy Grill on a Sunday for brunch. The restaurant has a nice and casual atmosphere with a large fireplace that was... unfortunately not on. Service was a bit slow to start (took about 15 minutes for anyone to stop by) but got much better afterthey. Food was your typical American brunch type food. Not the greatest but not bad. Just don't expect Michelin star food????. All in all a good experience worth repeating. Read more
I have been going to "Menotomy" since they first opened and still love this place! (Best fish & chips around! IMHO.)... But... WHY OH WHY did you change the muscles recipe?!?!?! The original preparation with the beer broth was THE BEST MUSCLES DISH I'VEEVER HAD!!! And the bread soaked in it.....DIVINE! I don't know why so many things on your menu (like muscles and vegetableside dishes) all have to have bacon in them...? I can say that the chef(s) have been willing to make us the muscles "the oldway" on multiple occasions, so I am very appreciative and grateful for that! (It's been quite a while though... I wonder ifthey would still say yes to this request...?) Also in the spring, you made a soup of the day that was green, thick, vegetarian,and DELISH (but I forgot what was in it or what it was called.) I hope you offer it again though! Great place with wonderful staff and great food and drinks. Our waitress fixed our wobbly table and immediately noticed my order... was wrong and had it replaced. Those chipotle citrus wings were very nice. Flatbread pizza was great! Thanks again! Read more
Great ambience & service. Food was delicious: We had the shrimp fritters & parmesan fries to start. Then I had the mussels,... husband had the Greek salad with shrimp, & kiddo had the pizza. It was loud and pretty much full capacity on a Sunday night. I went alone and my server was with me within minutes of me sitting... down. I had the Go Figure cocktail which was nice, but didn't wow me. (I am content a second one, but for now, one will do.) Mysalmon was a little softer in the middle than expected (it smooshed instead of flaked for the most part) but had a really crispyskin and good flavor. Had to wait a bit for the apple crisp because they ran out of ice cream, but it was delightful and worththe wait. Overall, perfectly serviceable and someplace I'd come again, but too loud for anything intimate and not enoughvariety (in my personal opinion because I'm spoiled ????) for me to make a regular part of my eating out schedule. Fantastic first time experience here for dinner and the 30th Anniversary of The Original House of Blues event! Loved the venue... and vibe. The staff was on point and friendly. Our reservation wasn't quite ready and they comped us some cocktails for ourpatience. We had the chicken with the sausage/potato stuffing, which my husband loved, and the pot pie which was yummy. But theending of bread pudding was a crowning glory! Will be back! Read more
