I met Craig when he bought a vehicle from me at the dealership I work at. Super nice guy and he told me about his restaurant and... catering. I meant to get up there all summer and didn't find a good time. But I finally brought my father "another foodie" therefor his Birthday. Great looking location, great food, good service. I've been telling people about A-town since we were thereand we'll definitely be back. Only thing I would change, is I'd like to deserts to be bigger. But I understand that is personalpreference. This is a fantastic small town restaurant. The menu is great, the food and drinks are fantastic. We make the 30 mile drive... regularly because it's one of the best spots in the area to have a good meal. Read more

To begin, I want to state the owner did try to make things right by giving myself and the 3 ladies with me 50% off our bill ... which was generous but unnecessary. Things had already spiraled to a point of no return. Here's the story. My friends bdaydinner. A town is a nice option for people in our area and all 4 of the people in our party frequent it regularly. The birthdaygirl ordered a salmon salad and another dish to split so two people could share two dishes. The salmon salad lettuce portion gotdistributed, but when she cut into the salmon she realized it was raw. The waitress asked if we wanted it recooked, but myfriend was so disgusted by the raw fish she asked to have it sent back. She and my other friend shared the second meal, and atethe appetizers and deserts we ALSO ordered. When we asked for the bill we were offered 4 dollars off for the 11 dollar salmonsald she sent back. We asked to speak with the manager who was also the owner and she was rude, and accused us of trying to getfree food. After ten minutes of her closing her eyes, taking deep breathes, and treating us like disobedient children. Shefinally took the raw salad off of our tab. We were all shocked by her behavior. She told us since we had kept some of thelettuce (the division of the meal before we realized the salmon was raw) that we should pay for it. All in all, she must haveseen the error of her ways and was trying to protect herself from our honest review, but she did give us all a 50% discount, asI stated. But she lost 4 patrons and our good opinion of the place. Read more

They have many things on the menu I?d would like to come back to try! They cook more than just the pizza in the wood fire stoves... and it really gives things that delicious char. Overall the food was good, which is nice to find in a rural area. Theappetizers, Pesto Cheese Breadsticks and Loaded Jo-Jos, were good, but both a bit dry. They have a small, but decent kids menuthat I appreciate, because the kids pizza was good! We also had the Hot Mama Burger and the Jacked Grilled Cheese, which I wouldhighly suggest both. Their fries are so good! My only complaint, which is not a big one, is that it did take quite awhile toeven get appetizers, which ended up coming out just before the food. I agree with a previous reviewer, you NEED to make areservation if you plan on having dinner here. We went early, 3:30p, without a reservation and had no problem get off a table, but by the time we left at 5p all the tables had been booked the rest of the evening. They do have a small area for bar seatingif you get lucky! Read more

It's taken a few attempted visits to finally eat at ATown. And it was worth the wait. Plan ahead to eat here. It is always busy... and for a good reason. A reservation is a must. And even then expect to be there about two hours. It takes time for food toarrive, however, the staff is very transparent on where your order is at making the wait worth it. I had ordered a pizza andwhen our waitress brought the food she mentioned the kitchen made an error on the pizza and it's being remade. Took completeownership of the error and I was happy to be made aware instead of left in the dark waiting for my pizza while others ate.Amazing food at a decent price. Read more
