The sliced brisket is sooooo delicious and lean! Love their potato salad and coleslaw. The restaurant is clean and the decor is... darling. Our server was the sweetest lady! We have kids and get a highchair and booster. I carry clorax wipes in our diaper bagbc they’re usually disgusting and need to be wiped down. Not here, even the booster and highchair looked like they werecleaned after the last customer! I was so impressed! Our boys shared a kids plate and enjoyed it! Got take out brisket and sides from here. Barbecue was excellent, sides of fried okra and coleslaw were good. Liked the barbecue... sauce. A half pint side will easily feed 2-3. Family operated. Indoor area looked really clean and they have a meeting room. Read more
Pretty good, got the chopped brisket. Asked for it without sauce though and they still put sauce on it anyways so that was a... bummer. But the loaded potato was great and tried on of my father in laws ribs and it was pretty good. Also loved all theCoca-Cola stuff on the walls. Read more

I have driven by Coker's BBQ for years and the outside looks so unkempt that I have never wanted to venture inside to try it. ... It doesn't have a fun rustic look, it looks like it may or may not be open and may not have been occupied for years. I waspleasantly surprised when I went inside and it does have nice clean decor and friendly service. You sit down and order from aserver instead of the usual tray line ordering. The bbq was ok. It wasn't terrible and it wasn't great. We had sliced brisketand ribs. They both tasted like they had been cooked in an oven and didn't have much smoke flavor. They weren't bad but therewas nothing notable and it was more like eating a roast than bbq. The sides we had were potato salad, fries and mac and cheeseand nothing stood out as better than average. We've been going here for a several years and it has just gotten so much better. Ate there last night to celebrate a birthday... and man it was sooooo good. Got the monster potato and it was so worth it. Their spices have improved as have their sides. Theservice was great and they genuinely care about what you order. The interior has improved as well! Good and solid bbq with owner who got crazy about Coca Cola. All place decorated with coke them, like everything. From bathroom... to kitchen. Anyway, the food good. Not the best in the Texas, but certainly worth to be consider. Brisket - not dry but not themelting fat as well, sausage is hot and tender, bologna is roundabout, grilled and juicy. Staff is friendly. But something ismissing. Like, Coke products used to fix souses, or something else. Read more

They weren't very busy and that sometimes worries me that... a business might be struggling, so please go give them a try and support them.
