Everything was delicious, the lamb was seasoned and cooked just right The chicken was cooked to perfection, four nice size... pieces. If you have the time and you want fried chicken, please try Ella B’s. We enjoyed the service and ambiance. Nice jobwith the wall mural. Read more
ELLA'S B restaurant is a hit hays off to the chef and those awesome bartenders. I was a little mad when I went this time and... they shorted, or shall I say they were real stingy on my Peach Cobbler, for 10 dollars I wanted the little containers full. This place is amazing, the vibe is great and the people are nice and friendly… karaoke night was fun and I must admit I had a... great time with my family… I ordered the fried chicken however it was old and cold. .everything was drenched in some type of sauce who made things gross. The friend chicken was drenched in honey . I get the honey... fried chicken but there was honey all over my plate. The mash potatoes is soaking in butter. The cornbread was hard and soakingin ???? Not sure it wasn’t good so I didn’t c??? to see what kind of sauce but u can see the sauce. My friend rolls wasdrench in butter. It was the rolls from the frozen section from the store. Only thing that taste good was the chicken once uignore all the honey on it. I think some people who try it come with the wrong expectations. I really loved the food here. The chef is absolutely amazing... and everything including my cocktail tasted great. I believe this is a place for people who are familiar with and used to thistype of food and with that comes a certain ambiance and liveliness that I think might be off putting to some who don'tunderstand the culture behind the food. With that being said, I think if this place did diversify the atmosphere or at leastdecide whether they want to be upscale or more relaxed It would be an added bonus to someone's experience here. Thus far I havetried the honey fried chicken, mac and cheese, collard greens, mashed potatoes,cornbread fried shrimp, a honey smash cocktailand a lemon drop martini (not on the same day). The food was not too salty and I thought it was seasoned perfectly (given that Igrew up with this type of food). I would say it's better than a lot of people's cooking at home and it's very difficult to getthat quality from a restaurant so if you know you can "throw down" but you don't feel like cooking, I feel like this is a greatalternative. The staff were all very polite and helpful and we spoke to the manager/owner who was extremely friendly. If youcome on a busy night, when there is a live band, they can be slow to take your order and even if you have reservations they maynot ensure you have a table waiting for you. If you don't want to potentially have someone dancing right next to your table orif you are looking to go on a date where you expect to "hear" what your date is saying, then this probably isn't the place foryou.
