Food was Delicious!! They didn't have mustard for the sausage, but it was still Good!! Was looking forward to the Turkey but... they were out. Chicken wings were a Great replacement. Will definitely go the again when in town. Read more

Our prospective vendor took us to see the Rangers play the Kansas City Royals. We opted to have dinner at Lockhart Smokehouse at... Texas Live! adjacent to the stadium. Like other places, they sell their meats by the pound (1/2lb, actually). We selectedbrisket, pork ribs and sausage plus the baked beans and mac-n-cheese as sides. The restaurant gave us a loaf of white bread ? weconsumed half of the loaf and left the remainder for other patrons. The brisket was juicy and tender but I ended up using thebarbeque sauce on the table. The pork ribs were okay; a little dry for my liking, but tasty. The sausage was tender and subtlyflavored; perhaps we should have selected the one with Jalapeno for more kick. The mac-n-cheese was great and the baked beanswere satisfactory. What did we think? It was good (but not great) barbeque and the proximity to the stadium made it a ?nobrainer? for us. Recommended if you order wisely! Read more

Sausage was under cooked. Mac and cheese was way to thick, sort of cold and tastes like paste, potato salad a first tasted good... then it tastes like brisket, BBQ sauce salsa and potatoes all mixed together like a casserole. It was gross. The turkey was goodit was worth two starts. The Dr. Pepper was not good either and the ice wasn't ice clear. It was foggy. Possibley cause it wascold and it was warm out. Either way was disappointed in the entire experience. Cost was typical sporting event and BBQ prices. Cost verses experience wasn't worth it. Read more

I had a decent time here. I did think that the food was a pricey for the amount we got. I definitely could eat a large portion... of the sides on my own as the small sides were too small. The meat portion was also pretty small. I don?t eat much either.Otherwise the food wasn?t too bad. If you?re looking for a good experience at Texas Live and bbq then maybe check it out.Otherwise if you?re looking for just good Texas bbq, you?d be better off elsewhere! Read more

Well, the Mac and Cheese was great. So we're the deviled eggs. The brisket was great if you like super dry meat. Think of an old... street walkers clam, and that how bad this was. Don't waste your money, go to Dickey's BBQ they tells you how bad the BBQ hereis. The sides are great. But the premium they charge for meat is a joke. Read more

Took my Wife there before yesterday's ballgame. Thought it would be a great place to eat before going to the game. Boy were we... sadly mistaken. We purchase a 1/2 pound of brisket and it was more fat than meat. The sides of beans were cold. The chicken wasok. This place has fallen from the last time I visited. Will not go bad if they are going to sever fat for brisket.... Not worththe drive, time or money.. Read more
