First time at Pluckers Wing Bar and it was a decent experience. Appetizers and Entrees came out quick and fresh given the... circumstances. The employee who waited on us was very kind, helpful and informative. I ordered the Chicken Cheesesteak and itwas delicious. Overall my experience was great. Sat immediately, didn't take long for a happy, funny waitress to get to us, appetizers came out... quick and one was great (tatchos), the other which was chips and queso, the queso was good but the chips were stale like they'dsat out for days and days.The main courses of chicken Philly cheese steak, honey bbq burger, BLT and the honey BBQ salad wereexcellent. Foods always good. But when I get to go they forget EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I live 35 minutes away so by the time I always... check it?s too late. So annoying. Only gave me entree smh. It was our first time here and everything was amazing! I took a step outside my comfort zone to try things I've never had before... and I'm glad I did. I had The Kitchen Sink, The Appetizer Sampler and Fried Oreos with a side of sweet tea which was huge btw. UPDATE: Shout out to the owner of this place for taking care of our situation. Very professional and asked if there was... something he could do to help us. Thank you! Make sure you join the waitlist on YELP before you come here an hour in advance!It gets busy. Nice spot in Arlington Highlands, great variety of drinks, Wings, Burgers, sandwiches, etc. The wait did takealmost an hour and our food unfortunately was at a cool temperature. Mother plucker. What a horrible way to start a work week. Drinks were okay (seemed light on the alcohol for the large $10... drink, I sat at the bar, and it was some sloppy pouring and not to my benefit ). Wings were STONE cold and actually felt almostrefirigated on some of the ends. I ordered them HotLANTA "Dirty Bird" style (Extra crispy, lemon pepper then tossed in sweetBBQ SAUCE), which was tasty (still cold) but overshadowed by the long wait, poor service and general lack of concern when Itried to speak to management. I left after an hour (ate 1 wing) while waiting for the manager. It was pretty busy, but therewas NOT A LACK of waitstaff. There were 4 people manning the front desk for Pete's sake! From the busy bar and front door,lots of people enjoy this establishment, but for this Georgia Boy, I am going to move on to "warmer" pastures, and I reccomendyou to do the same. Why did the chicken cross the road? Because it couldn't fly. It lost its wings. To pluckers. It probably bad joke. But the... wings are excellent. The boneless chicken platter is based on huge breasts, I think. Large portions, enough for 2 people. Thisis sort of a sports bar, chicken wing, lively place. Fun and moderately priced. Read more
