First, the wife and I both enjoyed our Philly CheeseSteaks. I got the "Texas" size which was a decent size but left me wanting... for more. The cheese was good and the buns were soft. I would have liked more peppers and mushrooms. Other than that, it wasnot a bad sandwich. The place itself needs some work as you can see from the pictures. I live close and recently discovered this place. Loved the food. So far it has been consistent every time we go. They seem to... always be busy. Depending on the day they run out of stuff like onion rings or sometimes peppers. That?s a sign of needingimproved management. Read more
These guys make an excellent Philly Cheesesteak! I got the Texas Philly with a side of Jalapeño poppers, I ate one they usually... come with 4. Really great food. Its a bit more on the pricey side but its worth it. The place itself looks in a bit of disrepairso thats the only reason its not a 5 star review. Sometimes, I find restaurants online, sometimes I find them through friends or social media. Sometimes, you see a restaurant on... the side of the road and you just feel like you need to try it. I instantly knew, when I saw it, that S&S Cheesesteaks inArlington needed my attention. I drove up to the window and ordered the Texas Burger and a small order of the Cheesesteak Tots.The order takes a minute to come out of the other side when I pull around but it was well worth the wait. Starting with theTots. I really like these. Crisp tots topped with cheesesteak, peppers, onions, cheese and the sauce. Not to mention that theorder is huge. The small is enough to make a meal of its own. The burger was awesome. Basically, everything which came on thetots but also on a beautifully seared patty between some toasted buns. The combination of the flavors actually played reallywell into each other and the sandwich didn?t fall apart as you might expect. In my experience, these kinds of restaurants oftenhave something to offer but no one gives them the time of day because they aren?t mentioned, their buildings are dilapidated, orbecause no one has bothered to even try them yet. There?s something to be said about just stopping by places you find in theside of the road. Hands down BEST Philly cheese steak I have ever had! This little shack puts out some delicious food- from their special fries,... Philly's, to burgers. Only downside is that there is not a lot of seating, however for larger parties there is a convenientdrive through to enjoy the food on the go. Highly recommend this place....you won't regret! I ordered the cheesesteak nachos with no mayo, instead it had Mayo and tasted like spray can cheese. Very cheap soggy and taste... like aioli on thin nacho chips. I was very disappointed I couldn?t eat it. Waste of money, I will never eat a Philly CheeseSteak Again. Read more
