We are out at Tierra Golf Course at least twice a week for our son, so we typically visit Ventana Grille, at least for a quick... drink. The chips and queso are a good snack. The chicken strips are a go-to for my son, and I personally like the burritobowl. They have a full bar, although don't go fancy with your drink order as they typically are not staffed or equipped foranything beyond basic drinks, which is just fine for us! They run food specials daily, but I would love to see some kind ofregular happy hour, too! They are rarely busy, so you usually get prompt service. Read more
Wow what a disappointment. There was no service. Staff never refilled drinks. After about an hour I went in to get a coffee... refill and our food was sitting under a heat lamp. Needless to say it wasn?t hot. My father told them the onion rings werecold. They said sorry but didn?t offer to get hot ones. I can no longer recommend this place. It used to be amazing and the past year its gone downhill (even pre covid). The entire... staff seems to be only teenagers with a lack of experience. I've never seen a manager on site. They have kids mixing drinkswhich are always sub-par. Either absolutely no alcohol or way too much. It's disheartening to pay $12 for margaritas that areeither are so bland or so stout you can't choke it down. The food now seems like they just take it out of the freezer andmicrowave it. We recently had a table of 6 and sat around for 1hr 30min before we finally got up and asked them take our order.They only had one waitress working and it was not that busy. I ordered a chicken fried steak and while they were bringing outthe food to the rest of the table they brought a dry steak and told me "sorry they were out of gravy... ". They offered someother sauce I'd never even heard of. Seriously? You can't whip up simple gravy? My 8 yo son knows how to make gravy. Absolutely wonderful. We had a private event on the patio. There were about 30 of us and the staff did great. I had the burger... and it was cooked to perfection. I have lived in the area my enite life and I cannot believe I've never been. Would eat hereagain. Read more
My apologies for a super late review. COVID-19 put things on pause. I would be re-missed not to write a review. We had my... sister's baby shower on Saturday, March 7th. Adena Wallace was AMAZING!!! She helped organize the shower, she was creative andwas very supportive throughout the entire process. This venue was nice and reasonable price. I would highly recommend thisvenue. Brunch was fantastic. My wife had the shrimp and grits. Shrimp were seasoned perfectly and the jalapeno cheddar grits were... delicious. I had the fried chicken with French toast. I had the Ventana Burger and my husband had the Roadrunner Sliders. One bite in and we both looked at each other. My burger was... probably the best burger I have ever had. I ate the whole thing. I can not say enough about this place. It's not just theamazing food, it's everything. The food, the staff, the view, the Chef and the Manager were all 5 star. We found our newfavorite restaurant. Food has been consistently good. I enjoy sitting down to eat, but you can also walk up and order food like a snack bar.
