The food comes quick and you do not have to wait long to order either. Not to mention the location,especially if youre flying AA regional, is within a 5 minute walk to your gate. Honestly this is exactly what you expect from an airport restaurant. They take Priority Pass which is nice as that reduces what... you end up paying to, but it isn?t worth it. The food was not appetizing and the burgers were not good. Read more

We had a 90 minute layover so this was close to our gate. Restaurant was busy, but not slammed. The table and chairs were clean,... although the menus were a bit grimy. The fish and chips was not overcooked, and my steak was fine. Typical pub food and one ofthe better offerings in this wing of the airport. Our server Hirut was excellent, friendly and efficient. American Tap Room at DCA is a typical airport restaurant. Several items on the menu were unavailable when we went. We had... sandwiches, a bowl of turkey chili, and a pretzel. The sandwiches were good. Service was good and we were able to be seatedwithout waiting when we visited. Read more
Needing some food before a series of flights to get home from DC, we decided to check out America's Tap Room. It definitely... lived up to it's name, especially for such a small location. There were many varied craft beers from porters to ciders, as wellas the regular standards of more well known beers. They also have a well stocked spirit list and may be known for theircocktails as well. Their wine list isn't too shabby either. The staff was very courteous but were swamped, as the efficientlyused space was as full as an airport restaurant could be, with multiple groups leaving and entering continually. The restaurantis also a Priority Pass affiliate, so that may explain some of the crowd. I ordered the steak sandwich, with caramelized onionsand cheese and my friend ordered the Tap Room burger and substituted the fries for a salad. The food came out quickly but wasn'tthe greatest. While the shaved steak was tender and flavorful, and the bread was quite tasty, the onions were pretty much raw,so I had to take them off. As for my friend's order, they re-substituted the salad for fries. We didn't want to make a fuss, sowe just continued our meal. The food is good, better if they bring out what you ordered. I would give it a 3.5 if that waspossible. Seems like a good place to have a couple drinks before heading on the plane... Unless you're the pilot of course. Read more
Ew. Fried chicken was EXTRA DRY and looked like it was prepared hours before I ordered. It wasnt even Hot on arrival ; I asked... the waitress to replace and she completely ignored me the rest of the time I was here. I didnt even take one bite of the chickenas you can see.
