Three of us went to this place for the first time on 10/29/22. The manager Jae /probably name would be wrong/ had very angry... looking to us and other customers. He felt like it does not matter whether you dine-in or not. Because he said we do not havetable now. He did not offer like "if you can wait you could be seated. There was one table leaving. Also, very angry anddisrespectful bad attitude. He strongly threw our food on the table and pushed to us like trash. He was unreasonabledisrespectful and mean. The size of beef we ordered was less. The food name is "Hot stone". The woman working as cashier andserver was very polite, respectful and great. We did not ask anything for free, we were just wanted to pay for the service thatwe wanted. In person kimchi stew was good with pork belly but I also wish there was tofu in it. The pork quality could be better or less... chunky? It?s a very savory stew so you need rice or something w rice to offset the savory and spicy. The in person bulgogikimbap was much better than the tonkatsu gimbap in terms of flavor and presentation. I?d try to eat in person here for the foodexperience in person being better but there?s only a few tables and a very casual setup. For a prior separate delivery order,Ttukbokgi is spot on with the rice cakes being chewy and the sauce being mild and not too spicy. The tonkatsu gimbap was ok butI didn?t think it was all that flavorful but it was filling probably too hefty as part of gimbap. Probably would order tonkatsuitself next time. The side order banchan was small in portions and the potato side dish was good but the kimchi and radishkimchi tasted kind of stale. I?d probably order a bibimbap next time in addition to ttukbokgi. UPDATE: I finally had the opportunity to visit this place in person this January and wow...it truly lived up to all of the... expectations I had built up after ordering their takeout / delivery a few times more than what was probably financially healthy.Their kimchi jjigae is somehow even better when served piping hot and fresh in the restaurant, and their side dishes aredelicious. I came here for my first meal back in D.C. after winter break, and digging into their incredible kimchi and tofu stewafter bracing the cold to walk here from Georgetown felt like a warm and delicious hug. Sure, is $16 a little expensive forsoondubu jjigae? Yes. But is it absolutely worth every cent, especially if you aren't able to trek all the way to Annandale toaccess the rest of this area's authentic Korean food? Also yes. -- This place is absolutely incredible! I was really cravingsome Korean food but didn't have time to metro all the way down to Annandale, so I decided to give this place a shot. Itabsolutely did not disappoint; all of the food was delicious, plentiful, and affordably priced. I placed my order on UberEatsand, when it arrived at my doorstep a mere 20 minutes later, everything was still hot and remarkably well packaged. I'm oftenworried about ordering soups on UberEats, but BibiMix puts their soup containers into tiny plastic bags to ensure they avoid anyspillage (a very small detail, but still one that shows how conscious of customer needs their staff is). I ordered soondubukimchi jjigae and a roll of avocado kimbap. The soondubu came with white rice, as well as sides of pickled white onions, avocado, and cucumber kimchi, which were the perfect balance against the stew's heaviness and rich flavor. The portions are alsofantastic -- I personally split the soondubu across two separate meals, and ate the avocado kimbap for a light lunch a couple ofdays later. All around, I can't recommend this place enough. I can't wait to revisit this spot in person once COVI Read more

Hungry but don't have the time to drive down to Annandale, but want authentic Korean food that is easy and quick, and also easy... on the wallet? Look no further. Bibimix is right in the heart of the Orange Line Corridor in Eastern Arlington. From Hot Stonebibimbap to To go kimbap, you can't go wrong. Order to eat in to sample their banchan menu, including authentic kimchi, properlyfermented, and also the Korean American canned Makkolli! Read more

This place is great! My sister and I went specifically for the tteokbokki, but everything was delicious. The fried chicken was... SUPER crispy and the japchae was flavorful. Bimbimbop bowl was good and filling. If you're looking for home-style Korean food, this place is it. Read more

It?s was my first time experiencing this restaurant and it was okay. This rating is based purely on the food. The service and... vibe of the restaurant was good. Okay, let?s talk about the food! It was a bit disappointing to my boyfriend and I. The kimchipancake was not spicy. We expected more from a flavor experience. Stop holding back and let the flavor out. My chicken bowlcould of used more vegetables. I wanted more chicken in my bowl but I guess I never asked for that. It was bit of a one note -noodles. No extra sauces were provided when I thought I heard they were added in the bag. Honestly, I won?t go back because itwas bit below average for a fast casual spot. Read more

Headed out for lunch during a break while attending this virtual training. The original agenda was to visit a taco truck and... call it a day but I BiBiMix on the way and thought to make a stop here. Ordered Korean Spicy Bowl and Wings. The waiting gamebegan and it was quick. While waiting, I saw a friend from the gym so there was a quick hello there but coming back to theexperience, food was prepared swiftly. Took the food home and started with the Korean Spicy Bowl. The food was fresh, thechicken was delightful and every bite was refreshing. Yes I used the word refreshing which is commonly used for cold sweeteating items. Now came the wings and boy I loved them. They had this layer of crunch and this crunch was different than anyother wings I had. I appreciate this. I would conclude it by saying that this place is a must try. The staff is wonderful, verycourteous and there was a moment someone from the staff was calling me out but I did not hear this but when I did, I apologizedbut the guy behind the counter is very sweet and just smiled. I appreciate small things like that. The food was quick and fresh.I will come here again for sure. Read more
