Great spot for good food served quickly. Loved the Cumin lamb stir fry, fried rice, and dumplings!

My boyfriend and I had dinner here last night and it was great. Nice outdoor seating for his puppy and friendly staff. Food -... spicy snacks, sweet and spicy string beans, orange ish chicken was tasty due to controlling the sauce and dumplings were decenttoo. I would recommend this place. I would probably try a different entree if we went back again. Read more

This is my third time visiting this location since they opened, and I must say, they never disappoint. The setup inside is fast... casual and the staff are prompt and friendly. It's self-seating and you ordered online through a QR code - not sure if that'sstill the practice however since I ordered for pickup. My usual is the chicken spring rolls (they're SO GOOD) and the lambbraised noodles. The noodles are perfectly cooked and there's a generous portion of lamb and veggies. It's really enough for twopeople. Other reviews here complaining about small portions should dump the food into a plate to appreciate how much food isreally there- the takeout containers are very deceiving. It's a little pricey, yes, but the quality of the food is great andit's very flavorful. Other things I've tried and liked include the banchan (especially the spicy veggies), green beans, brusselsprouts, and bulgogi with rice cakes. Everything is delicious. The sesame custard dessert is AMAZING. Absolutely worth a visit. Read more

I stopped by to check out the dumpling happy hour. I didn't really know what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised! 5... dumplings for $5 and specific cocktails for $7. I tried the spicy mango smash, the Galbi beef dumplings, and the veggiedumplings. Quick service and delicious food all around! Read more

The food is good for being so quickly prepared. Definitely a great place to go if you want something delicious and quick. I... enjoyed the garden noodles as they reminded me of semi-spicy japchae. My son got the soy glazed brisket and really enjoyed it.My partner got the orangish chicken and gave it 4.7 stars as she liked the flavor and spice Read more

Very nice and freaking take on Asian cuisine. Scan we code for menu where you open a tab, very little server interaction and the... food is brought to you in plastic metal appearing bowls. The potstickers were very good. The smashed salmon bowl was good butnothing ground breaking. All good tasted fresh. Read more

This new outpost of Chiko really ups the game for Asian food in Shirlington. Casual and truly original Chinese-Korean fusion... that manages to be packed with inspired, umami-rich flavors without relying too heavily on peppery fire or fermented funk. Ijust love this place. Do yourself a favor and look past the deep fried chicken (perfectly good but not necessary) and try thecharred veggies, steamed salmon, and other slightly healthier options. They are flavor bombs too! Note: don?t know why but manyvegetarian options are on a separate vegetarian menu. Ask for it! Read more

Wow? I think my boyfriend and I have been here less than 20 minutes and I?m completely blown away? and full ???? This food is... sensational! As it turns out, the bf went to high school with one of the owners! Shirlington is a tough spot to keep, but I haveabsolutely no doubt that CHIKO will be here for a very long time! We had the pleasure of eating the cumin lamb stir fry, pork &kimchi potstickers, smashed salmon, and crispy chicken spring rolls. If I had to pick my favorite, I?d be completely torn?everything was delectable! I?m so happy to see a local business spring into action in Arlington; the atmosphere, the food, theemployees? 5 big bright stars to CHIKO! ???? Read more
