I have been here a few times already during my visits to the DC/Northern Virginia area, always looking for good Bolivian food,... and this place never disappoints. Found out with this visit that they have karaoke on Friday nights, so you can say that you arebeing serenaded as you are eating and having some amazing drinks. I love this place. Everyone is so friendly, the food is delicious, and the recipes are authentic. Plus they always make me feel... good and compliment my Spanish. My personal favorite is the chicken sandwich. It is a steal for ~$10 and the bread is DELICIOUS.When I was just in I was asking about a pastry displayed that she described as a keto-friendly yuca harina-based treat. My friend got Saltenas from here n it was absolutely delicious. Came back a month later and tried a broiled chicken dish (number... 49) on the menu. It was recommended by our waitress. Once it came out and a took one bite, I knew it was smooth sailing fromthere. Long story short it was an amazing culinary experience. You have to try this place for yourself. PLEASE Do youreself a favor and GO HERE!!! This place is beyond fantastic, priding itself as one of the oldest Bolivian... restaurants in the DMV area! Such an iconic location. If you are in DC, you need to come here and try this restaurant out. Staffand customer service are so friendly, I met a lady named Mimi there who I think is the owner and she provided me such welcominghospitality. I felt important and cared for as a customer when I went in here. I proudly support! I came here for the Salteñasand this place did not dissapoint. One of the best salteñas I've had in my life. Here is what I ordered and my thoughts onthem: 1) Chicken Salteña - So delicious. Everything in here was perfect and well-seasoned. My partner ate this and he said itwas a little too much on the sweet side, by overall, it's delicious. It's an explosion in my mouth with so may differentflavors. I just recommend that they keep their salteñas on a thick side, not too soupy or else the liquid will dripeverywhere. 2) Beef Salteña - Just as wonderfully delicious! Definitely recommend! Overall, I am in love with theirsalteñas. I'm definitely coming here to try more bolivian food because I'm such a fan of Bolivian cuisine. Latest update (June 2021): Last visit was greasy… ???? Update: We have come come about 5 times and have to say the service... and flavor has decrease in quality. I went here yesterday my husband went in first was seated at a dirty table. The food was not that good and it was brought to us... cold. I asked for a sopa de maní it did not taste like it tho. To drink i ordered mocochinchi it just tasted like cinnamon withsugar. The prices are really high i am not sure if i miscalculated or if they change prices but we ordered one salteña , sopade maní, fricase, two cans of coke, one mocochinchi and i believe my brother in law ordered churrasco they charged us $69 andsome change but when i got home i was looking at their prizes and my calculations came to be around $40.
