We cannot say enough good things About our feast at this restaurant. Neither of us had ever had this type of cuisine before and... left absolute lovers of Ethiopian cuisine. We loved it so much we intend to find it back in Arizona and a and learn to make itourselves. Do yourself a favor and just go, you will not be disappointed. Read more

Really great portion sizes and incredible flavors! Great place to get your Ethiopian food kick! We had the meat lovers combo for... 2 and were able to share it between 3 people! Also got the lentil sambusa (comes w 2 pieces per order). As you can see in thepictures, we left the plate completely clean. Read more

The Derek tips are elite! Flew into DCA and would typically go to Zenebek in Adams Morgan. But instead, risked it and picked a... new place, Enjera. What a beautiful risk. The Salad was actually the sleeper item. Not expecting much from salad whateverdressing they use in it is ??????????. Followed by the red lentils, green beans and then cabbage. Everything was exceptionallytasty. Will make this part of my DCA airport tradition. Read more

First time having Ethiopian food and the staff was very helpful in introducing things to try. The platters were very good, but... to be completely honest inerja might not be my cup of tea. Doesn't take away from the deliciousness of the food, and goodservice, just my personal preference. Read more

We had the most INCREDIBLE experience here! I couldn?t get enough. The only criticism I have of this place is that the food is... so good, and there?s so much of it, that it?s almost impossible NOT to end up in a food coma! For real though, if you?ve neverhad Ethiopian food, give it a try. Enjera is also very reasonably priced. Read more

I hadn't had Ethiopian for probably 10+ years, and didn't care for it when I tried it previously. A date talked me into trying... Enjera, and I'm so happy I did. We tried the meat and vegetarian combo, it came with two different types of lentils, greens, mixed veggies, cabbage, salad, tree different kinds of beef, and chicken. Wow, so good. The food is definitely spicy, but notburn your mouth spicy, just very very flavorful. The service was good, the restaurant was clean, and the prices were reasonable.Currently they are including 20% gratuity on all checks, likely because of Covid. There is parking in the lot behind therestaurant. Read more

I've never had Ethiopian food before, and this really exceeded my expectations. The restaurant was busy and a little crowded,... and the wait for food seemed a bit longer than I thought but we were a party of six so like I can't deduct any points from themfor that. Besides, they sat us quickly and were very friendly. The food though is really where they shined. Perfectlyportioned, excellently seasoned and just the right amount of spicy. Plus the bread was something I've never experienced before.Truly a new and Wonderful experience I'll never forget! Read more
