Pretty good food! This place is an old school style Italian place - much like I remember from my childhood. I liked coming... here for the nostalgia and ambiance. The flavor and quality was great for what we had. Their wine selection was prettyimpressive. If you're in the neighborhood - try some wine and pasta! Read more

I stopped by for a meal when I was in town. The stuffed Marsala was excellent as were the stuffed mushrooms. Finished it off... with a cannoli. The owner was a great guy to talk to while waiting for my food to arrive. Very friendly. Would definitely goback next time I’m in the DC area. I took an Uber and couldn’t enter from Langston Blvd.. Parking and entrance are in therear of the restaurant. Read more

This is the first (and last) time I’ve eaten at Ruffinos since it changed owners, and I advise anyone who cares about taste,... service, or price to stay far away. $18 for five - yes 5 - pieces of ravioli, plus $4.99 upcharge for salty thin “vodkasauce.” The service was no better, taking 10 minutes to even be greeted and another 15 to get our garlic bread before waitinganother 25 minutes for our entrees. I even had to go to the bar to ask for the check, where the sole server working was blithelychatting with a patron while we and another table waited with empty plates. This used to be a charming little place to take thefamily for a good, cheap plate of pasta. But no longer owned by a local Italian family, this is sadly no longer true. RIPRuffinos :( Read more

I ordered 2 pasta dishes and calamari from this place to get an idea of what the food was like. The pasta was uninspired and... reminded me of something one would find in a tray over a sterno burner. The calamari was eye-opening as I had never had calamarithat looked like it had been julienned before being fried before. Not planning on going back to this place. Read more

My first time ordering from Ruffino's through Uber Eats. It took over 2 hours for the delivery. I ordered 2 hot sandwiches. One... of them was the Sausage and Peppers sandwich. It should of been named the Peppers and Cheese sandwich. There was hardly anysausages on the sandwich. The sausage is sliced the size of nickles. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT order this sandwich unlessyou want a green pepper sandwich. I won't be ordering from this place ever again. Recommend you don't either. Read more

Only giving 2 because Michael was super friendly. I’m shocked. Carbonara full of fatty pieces. Hardly any meat in the... cheesesteak and marinara sauce super oily. Not even edible. Not Italian by any means. Read more

Oustanding Food and Service. We held a luncheon for 30 people at Ruffinos and it was an outstanding event. The owner was very... flexible and helpful planning the event and offered tasting plates of the selected food items. The venue was the perfect sizeand could have easily handled 40-45. The food (spaghetti, meatballs, chicken parm, salad, garlic bread) was fresh and hot servedbuffet style. The marinara sauce was perfection. Service was prompt and friendly. And the fresh cannoli were great. The mostfrequently heard comments were, "The food was great" , "We have to come back and check out the regular menu" and "How did youfind this place". Read more
