** I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ** This 1 star rating is more than they deserve. I gave ratings on 1 star only because there... was not option to give 0 star.\nIt has nothing to do if there was line waiting, customer service, staff cleanness, … Iordered two shawarma platter with rice and fries.\nThe Meat is only reason of 1 star rating. we barely ate small portion of itand trashed the food right there and walk away.\nMeat was old and burned. After talking to some people in similar type ofbusiness I found the reason.\nWhen business is slow, the vertical burner overcook the meat and they trim the overcooked or burntsurface meat and store it in a warmer tray, when you ask for sandwich or platter, what they do is they use the old cooked keptin warmer tray. That\'s exactly what happened to us. You be lucky if you can convince them to cut you fresh cooked from burnerstick.\nIn my next review I will post more details about the place and people who work there. I\'ve been a fan of shawarma since my college days and, although not a connoisseur or expert, I\'m well acquainted with... them.\n\nThis place is great. It\'s humble and unfussy, even kitschy at times with its aesthetics (note the flickering coloredceiling lights, and there\'s a bubble wall of questionable style).\n\nI went in early and ordered a beef and lamb shawarma withrice and, while not the fastest service, it was prompt and attentive. Went here 2 nights in a row driving 30 minutes from Maryland after getting of work to try and get shawarma because it\'s what we... wanted. first night we get there at 11:30 and they tell us they\'re closed at 11 but online said they closed at 12 so we left.Went back again tonight this time called to confirm what time they closed they said 12 got there at 11:10 plenty of time to getsomething. This time the proceed to tell us that they have no meat but you can clearly see the meet on the cooker turning. Leftagain no shawarma. Do not go here!! completely unprofessional not a way to run a buisness wasted our time and gas two times justto drive another 40+ minutes home annoyed and hungry. Read more
Tried their beef shawarma sandwich - lunch special. The food was good, but the service needs improving. Also, the seating area... with the high tables and chairs is very crowded and needs organization. Read more
It was late. Just got off the plane. I was hungry and these guys were about 5 minutes away. Got to Shawarma Gyro Xpress at about... 10pm. Not too many people. Waited about 10 minutes to get the order in. Got the food in about 5 more. Ordered the Mixed MeatPlatter/Plate. I asked for beef and lamb. Got chicken and lamb instead. I did not request a change since I was hungry and didnot want to wait anymore. Food taste ok. Meat is meat. The white bean soup was a bit watery. Without the white sauce, it is abit on the dry side. I did ask for the white sauce that they usually put in the sandwiches and they just gave me some withoutextra charge. Overall, food was still good and I was full by the time I left. Read more

I was pretty disappointed and was determined to give a really bad review BUT I was convicted to give grace just like our Lord... Jesus gives us grace....so these are some recommendations to the owners of this restaurant: 1. Please clean your floors afterclosing when you do not have any customers (this is a real safety hazard) 2. A dessert would be appreciated with the high pricedbuffet. Read more
