Tacombi has cute checkered floors and walls lined with fruity sodas. It's a nice environment. I love their Al Pastor taco in... particular. Most tacos run for about $5 apiece, which is a bit pricey but no surprise for the area. I also love the outdoorseating on the sidewalk; it feels like dining in Europe. Read more
Great little place for Burrito or Taco. A few things from the visit. The menu is very plain. It is descriptive but no pictures... of meals. They were out of pork, so no Al Pastor tonight. Which was disappointing. On the positive side. This is a nice placeto eat. Very open. Outside dining was perfect for a night like tonight. Food is delicious. Loved the corn, beans, and rice.Right amount of spices mixed with onions and cilantro. I don’t think the corn was spicy but another in my party thoughtthought very spicy. I visited this restaurant two weeks after opening at this location. The service, staff, and food were good. The only downside is... the cocktails are very expensive for what you get. The food is good but a bit over priced in my opinion. I would recommend thisplace to anyone looking for a good street taco but at a premium. Read more
First and most importantly, the tacos are outstanding. I’ve had tacos from several popular places in Southern California, and... in my opinion, these are just about as good. I would give 5 stars considering how hard it is to find really good tacos innorthern Virginia, but their pricing is absurd. I paid over $18 for 3 tacos without any tip. Can’t speak to their other nontaco offerings. Great tacos, not worth the price in my opinion. Read more
The flavors are good... kind of. The pork was not good at all. The menu isn't descriptive enough for me. I order a been and... cheese burrito and it came with a cornucopia of other filling ( not a welcome surprise). The steak was a thin strip of meat,akin to a steakum. I visited with my husband. Together our order was 2 tacos and 2 burritos and our order came to $50. It was anice try. This wouldn't be my first choice for a quick eat but it was okay. Read more
New Taco place in Crystal City is a great casual spot for a light fare. The food, specifically the tacos and quesadillas, are... excellent. I did admire how the salsa is in water bottles and the decor is cheap, but comes together to give an elevatedexperience. I think this has to do with the restarting being clean + actual candles + staff is dressed nicely & uniformly. Theprice is a bit high relative to other taco places, but I do feel like it does command this price as there’s no other similargame in town in terms of casual sit downs. Read more
Nice taco spot in crystal city. The burritos were okay, but the tacos were delicious. Pricey tho, guacamole and chips where ... $13.95 and Tacos varied in price but about $4-6each. The place was simply hard to find. No signs, we walked past at least threetimes. Read more
I only got to try a take-out order, but it was so good! We had a selection of different tacos, which were delicious and the... pineapple juice was very fresh. I wish we’d ordered more tacos to be honest because they were so great. The sides were simpleand tasty, but didn’t really shine, which is fine because they are sides and not the main dish. A definite must try for aquick lunch went in Crystal city. Read more
