Eggcellent breakfast sandwich. Great coffee, too. It's a wonderful spot to boost your morning or unwind after work. The place... is fairly modern and has both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a bar. Since it wasn't 5:00 yet, I got some cortado coffeeand a breakfast sandwich with bacon. And boy, was it good. Freshly made, with fresh ingredients, one of the best I've had. Can't recommend enough! Read more

Food was very average and packed with extreme amounts of garlic clove slices. Just incredible quantities of sliced garlic. On... every single salty dish. The service was acceptable, except the young staff was still learning and there appeared to be noleader or manager in sight. According to neighborhood discussion threads, the food quality has been declining consistently. Myprevious visit a year ago was fine. But this visit was definitely not fine, unfortunately. Read more

If given the choice between Starbucks and this little gem, support local businesses and this adorable café tucked into the... office building. Sadly, it was fairly empty at 10:30 in the morning, clearly people in the area haven’t figured out thislittle hidden gem, but the atmosphere is clean and airy. The bartender/barista was super friendly. Service was very quick andthe latte was delicious as well as the fresh baked spinach and feta croissant pastry. I’ll be back! Read more

This is a very interesting and unique cafe, and they have all day breakfast sandwiches, which is what I had! I had the sausage,... egg, and cheese sandwich. Here they put a whole new twist on your typical breakfast sandwich by using a brioche bun (instead ofEnglish muffins, which seem to be used on most breakfast sandwiches), they add in some greens (never had greens on a breakfastsandwich either), Turkey sausage, cheese (not sure what kind, but was very good), and some kind of dressing or aioli sauce(again, not sure what kind exactly, but was also a great addition). I also had a cappuccino, which was pretty good as well, plusthey had the raw brown sugar that I always love to use! I would describe this as a hybrid between a restaurant and a coffee shopor cafe, because they serve more than just coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and scones… they also serve lunch and dinner, beer, wine, cocktails, and more. The staff seemed nice as well. Lastly, this place has a very nice mural that was done by one of myfavorite local mural artists, Miss Chelove. This place was a bit on the pricey side, but not too much. I definitely recommendgiving it a try! I like the upscale and modern feel as well. Read more

Came here for breakfast with my friend. We both ordered a breakfast sandwich and WOW was the portion huge!! I think both of us... only ate half. Honestly I think if they make the sandwiches smaller but have it include a side, that would be more ideal. But nocomplaint, food was good and staff was very friendly and attentive. Would go back to try other items on the menu! Read more

On Friday I decided to pop into the Freshman for lunch. The restaurant is nice, plenty of seating, lots of light, and not very... crowded. The service was good. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich (fried) and the La Jefa cocktail. The cocktail was not goodand tasted as if I was drinking liquid smoke. I do not recommend. Next up was the chicken sandwich, it looked good but the tastewas underwhelming. Overall, the food was mediocre and there are better places nearby to grab lunch. Read more

The meal was delicious. The sourdough bread for the toast was particularly good. If you like beer, go with The Freshman Nitro... Coffee Blonde Ale. Perfect accompaniment to brunch. It was busy when we got there so we had a bit of a wait for our reservationtime slot. Be advised that food takes a bit to come out. It wouldn't have been a big deal, but we were super hungry by the timewe sat down. Read more

My friend described this as a "millennial bar". He's right but it's a good one. Most days they have outdoor seating on their... terrace and that's where we at/drank. Service is provided when you order and pay via the QR code on the table. No need to waitfor the server to come back and take another order, you can order more food or drinks anytime and they'll bring it right out. This is a great asset since things are usually very busy there. Their drinks are pretty high quality, and not just the same oldthing you find everywhere else. Food is good too, definitely hits the bar for "millennial food". One fun thing they did was tohollow out half a lime, pour tequila into it, and then serve that floating on top of the margarita. Read more
