My bestie, Lannie and I went to this new restaurant in Clarendon. We were quite surprised when we entered to find that it was... really retro cool. From the soda shop chairs, penny tile floor and a spinning stool diner counter and it was impeccably clean!It has easy casual feeling of walking into the kitchen\nat mom’s house; with none of the frills that make you feel underdressed. We didn’t arrive in time for breakfast but we had a great lunch. The sandwiches are huge, the french fries arecrispy, the iced water comes in a glass milk bottle that you can refill yourself, and the coffee keeps coming. There is alsooutside dining. It’s located a couple blocks away from\nthe noise and traffic on Wilson and Clarendon Boulevards. Theiratmosphere is welcoming and the owner is very friendly, as was our server! Came here for lunch one day and this place delivers! The staff is warm and welcoming, the food is reasonably priced and it is... absolutely amazing! The chef there is a genius! They even have a full bar which is always a plus! Everyone go check this placeout!!!! Read more
First time ordering at this new, neighborhood spot. Food is very good. Staff friendly. Atmosphere clean & bright. Ordered the... fried chicken basket (chicken was cooked to perfection), and Greek chickpea salad. Sides included were macaroni and cheese +coleslaw (only request would be for less salt in the coleslaw). Looking forward to trying more of their dishes! Read more
Brand new modern decor super clean restaurant with high-end diner (inspired) dishes (also staff friendly and welcoming). Tried... lunch items Nashville Chicken Sandwich (cooked perfectly juicy inside/crunchy exterior w/nice tangy toppings of cole slaw andpickles inside soft fresh bread; even came w/fries), Mushroom Flatbread (nice toppings on cracker like crunchy bread), CrabBisque Soup (divine w/chucks of fresh tasty crabmeat, and French Onion Soup - rich yummy broth with perfect amount of cheese andonions (photos included of interior when I went super early and also my take out order). fun menu with some great options! The waiter recommended the breakfast flatbread and it did not disappoint. My husband went for... the chicken and waffles which looked great. I would also love to try one of their poutines. Overall great spot for brunch orbreakfast! Highly recommend. Read more
