Went on a random weekday for happy hour sushi and sake, but ended up with an amazing experience with the bartender, Sean. It was... like an omakase experience. He asked us what our preferences were and made excellent suggestions that catered to both my fiancéand I. Everything we had was delicious and well presented. I'm not normally the biggest fan of sushi and raw fish, but the food I had here might have changed my mind. All of the rolls and... specials were extremely well prepared and presented. The fish was all very fresh and tasted excellent. "the winner" wasdefinitely a highlight and I highly recommend trying it out. The wagyu buns were also a personal favorite. The atmosphere wasvery modern and the wait staff all were very friendly and prompt. Definitely enjoyed our experience here. Read more
A friend took me out to this place and yes the food took a while, but some things are worth the wait when they are done right... and done well ESPECIALLY when we are talking about items for raw consumption.The atmosphere was great and our server Angie wasabsolutely phenomenal! I wish we had this restaurant where I live in GA, but hey, this is still completely worth the trip. Thefood was fresh and flavorful and while trying a variety of sushi can often become, on your taste buds, an amalgam of the sameraw tinny fish taste, freshness counts so that you CAN taste the difference between them all and we DID! Definitely recommend this place. Tasty, fresh and beautifully prepared food. Surprisingly quite kid friendly for a place with... such a modern vibe. Helpful and friendly waitstaff who made great recommendations and were attentive which is appreciated whenkids are in the equation. Spacious restaurant with modern and appealing decor. Good selection of sushi and excellent choice ofappetizers. Green tea was perfect. Recommend the Volcano roll, the Crab roll and the Peter roll. Definitely going back again!(A number of families with kids were there for 4pm dinner - safe bet before it got busy with young adults). Absolutely love this place! Food and drinks were delicious and creative. I really enjoyed all of the specials that were offered... on top of the regular menu. You can have a delicious, reasonable meal or go all out and order dishes with 24K gold, caviar,truffles, etc. Service was impeccable, and I loved the vibe. Will definitely be going back. Read more
I give a lot if 5 stars out but I only do because these places deserve it. Even if I try my best I can’t find anything wrong... with them and even if there is something wrong with them then something is done by them that wins me over. Yume Sushi is one ofthose places. The vibe of this place is very hip and refreshing. You want to sit there even after you are done with your meal.The colorful atmosphere and ambiance is pretty decent. The service is courteous and suggestions are well thought of. Mycompliments to the amazing staff. The sushi is crisp and fresh. The Volcano Roll, the Mexican Roll and the Yume Roll all weresimply delicious. The desserts were outstanding. The whole experience was simply one of the best. Places like Yume easilygive fine sushi places like Nara-Ya a run for their money. 5 stars and well deserved 5 stars. I will definitely come again. Read more
I had my first dining experience at Yume Sushi last week, and I have been thinking about the food all week! I was in town... visiting, and along with a friend had the 7-course tasting menu. I will have to say that the quality of fish, flavors, andpresentation of the dishes was right up there with restaurants I have been to in NYC, Miami, and LA. The fish is flown in dailyfrom Japan, and the freshness is tasted in every bite. Although I enjoyed every course, my top favorites were the Toro Tataki,The Winner, and The Smoke Box Salmon. The toro literally melted in my mouth and I would order this every single time. If youhave any room left you have to try the Chocolate Sponge Cake, it is a small taste of heaven and a perfect amount of sweetness towrap up all the flavors of the night. I also appreciated the time, and care the chef's had in preparing each dish- they werebeautifully presented, and our waitress did a great job of telling us what it was (type of fish, sauce, how it was prepared).The manager came over on occasion to touch base, which showed me the staff takes pride in the service as well as food. If youare not there for dining, the cocktail and sake menu were also noteworthy. Recommend the No Yawns Espresso cocktail. Whether youare at Yume for a date night, special occasion, or just trying a new spot in town- you can't go wrong! Read more
