Super fun place with tiki decor and drinks. We had a great night at Lola's, sampling from their extensive menu of tiki drinks... while experiencing excellent service from our waitress. The main food option is pizza, would be nice to add a pu pu platter toenhance the experience. We were seated in a dark corner, so my only complaint was that it was very hard to read the menuwithout a flashlight, maybe some accent lighting would be helpful. I have lived in burbs 3yrs and this is by far my favorite place. So many cocktails and they are always changing. Pizza is good... but I will say avoid beer crust, way too much flour on bottom. Get thin crust, it's so good. Read more
The menu is super thoughtful with historical notes paying homage to the tiki tradition. Note, best experience for rum fans. Not... a lot for tequila drinkers. The decor was in good shape. Great place, like everyone said in other reviews, it is a hidden gem. Thought it was just a pizza place and was very surprised... but the drinks were amazing. I hope they explore adding more frozen drinks but they do make frozen daiquiris that weredelicious. Read more
I often drive near this place and could not even think that it is so interesting inside, my recommendation, you can also... decorate the outside in the style in which it is decorated inside. New to the area and finally got around to trying this gem. So good!!! Best pizza I?ve had out here; perfectly thin and crunchy... with the perfect amount of sauce/cheese ratio. Went to have some drinks and enjoy the atmosphere. This place is one of the best tiki bars I've visited in Illinois! Lots of... great artifacts which really gives the place character. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The drinks were superb!Really enjoyed the presentation of each drink, and they tasted wonderful! Definitely returning to try more items on the menu.
