The full slab of ribs were tasty although a bit dry so was the half chicken, we ordered online so maybe by the time we got there... it was sitting for 15 to 20 min. The beans were great and the cheese curds were ok. The cobbler was tasty. The smoke sausageswere delicious. The coleslaw was Soso a bit too sweet for my taste. Tonight we tried Porky’s BBQ. It is by far the best bbq place we’ve gone to in IL. The meat is top quality and the smokey... flavor was done to perfection. Though they have an excellent variety of homemade sauces you could eat the ribs and smoked wingswithout it. All the sides were tasty and homemade too. We’ll definitely be going back and highly recommend them and you’lllove the experience with their family style type staff. Read more

Ordered delivery. Pleasantly surprised! Ordered the ribs and mac & cheese. Both were more than I expected. Not sure why I got... the mac & cheese since it's not my favorite thing. I was not happy when I left Porky's. Having ordered online ahead of my visit, I was looking forward a nice BBQ dinner. On... arrival, I let them know my name and watched for the next 20+ minutes as patrons came and went, most having also ordered inadvance. Finally, the (presumably) high school kid picked up a bag out of the warmer and said my name. (Audible grumble) I hadactually asked him earlier, as well, if my order was ready and he ignored me. With that unpleasantness out of the way.... Iordered a brisket sandwich topped with coleslaw, mac-n-cheese, and some beer-battered cheese curds. Despite having sat in awarmer for at least 20 minutes. It was all delicious. Really outstanding. Well, the curds were okay but probably would havebeen better with 30 seconds in my microwave. I had the spicy sauce. With some sweetness and combined with the coleslawtopping, it was great. I will likely order the exact same thing next time around. Read more

First time in and the gal taking our order was super sweet and helpful. If you can, try the Carolina Gold and the Alabama White... BBQ sauces. They are both unique and very tasty. We also tried the sweet BBQ sauce and it was very good too. The only one wedidn't try was the spicy, maybe next time.???? Saturday specials are very generous on the serving size and I highly recommendyou take advantage of the BOGO on pastries. We tried the Pecan Pie and the Bread Pudding. Both were yummy, we were so fullfrom the food and only ate half the fries that we took home the left over dessert for later. The place is very cute and clean.
