I cannot explain how much I love this restaurant. It is just something I really like. It is just a casual spot, and it is also... really small. It is small but it has nice décor inside, making the place look really beautiful with a really nice and comfyambiance. The staff here are also very friendly and accommodating. I would go here and the staff would always be amazingthroughout my whole time inside the restaurant. Their menu, I can say, is not that huge, but it still has a wide variety ofoptions. The food here is cooked to order, so it is always fresh and hot. Anything I would order would always come out fresh andhot. There are many restaurants around that sell exactly what this restaurant has, and for me, the restaurant is competitivebecause their food is really good. Their hot dogs, beef, fries, and anything else served with huge portions are huge. Their hotdogs and fries are my favorite orders. I like their fries because they are always cooked perfectly and well-seasoned, and theyreally taste delicious, and that goes along well with their hot dogs. Awesome Chicago hot dog with fresh cut fries. Vienna beef dog on a steamed poppy seed bun with all the trimmings! Great shakes!
Came on in to stop for a quick bite, we were treated like family from our first visit. When we asked for our fries to be fresh,... they did it without a blink of an eye. Very friendly staff, excellent food, will definitely be back!!! Read more
Excellent diner with exceptional employees and the food was delicious. My family and I stopped in for a while because my mom was... having surgery at a nearby hospital. The owner was friendly and accommodating to our circumstances during our difficulttime. Definitely give this great place a try - wonderful food with great employees! Read more
Great local grill! Perfect for your chicago dogs, italian beef, burgers, tasty fries and shakes! (At least those are the items... we got haha). Highly recommend! Also: please consider paying with cash! They accept cards but cash helps their business! Read more
Showed up at 6:58pm. Called in and see if I could order. They had shut everything down and offered a gyro and fries. I was okay... coming back tomorrow but they had offered me food. I got a wonderful gyro with cheese fries and a green river. After 4 years ofnot going there (bc of moving) their service hasn?t changed. A+++ do not hesitate to go order from them! It is retro, budget restaurant for the working class. Plenty of signs, photos, decor from 1920s to 1960.
