Great small restaurant close to downtown Arlington Heights. The pancakes were fluffy and delish! Omelette was a good size and... fresh sliced hashbrowns tasted great. The real bonus was the gravy for the biscuits and Gravy. It had the perfect amount ofpepper and flavor. I would definitely be back here! My 3 year old even ate everything! Read more

In town for a family thing and stopped here for lunch/brunch before we left. My husband really enjoyed his "garbage" omelet and... the light pancakes (i had to take a bite too). Just came back in town from South Carolina. I?ve been coming here since eating Mickey Mouse pancakes in a highchair and The... Village Grill of Arlington Heights has always been my favorite breakfast place. The owners are some of the hardest working,friendliest people and the food blows egg harbor or any of the big breakfast chains out of the water. It?s sad to see placeslike this not get the business they should be. The atmosphere and the food is all love. I want this to be the first place I takemy future family. ?The Grill? as we like to call it is delicious. The pancakes are really good and I have never really had a bad meal here. I... have only done breakfast and it?s always wonderful. I have never done lunch and that is the reason for the 4 star review. I?msure the other menu items (lunch) are good too though. I really like the fact that you can actually sit at the bar like an oldfashioned diner. It?s great to watch John and his crew do all the cooking right there in front of you.
