First visit, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner there, lots of food, great service and affordable. Will be back!
Food was Amazing, Great Friendly Service, Beautiful Establishment. Fun Facts...My Family is related to the Shuberts in Real... life!! Overlanders came with the Shuberts down the river and landed in Kamloops. Katherine Shubert is my Mom's great, great,great Aunt. Hidden gem! Lunch on the patio overlooking golf course: super easy parking (even had shade), friendly, fast service, very... generous portions, very fresh and delicious food. We had power bowl, fish & chips and chicken burger. All delicious. (Only drawback was choice of music for a restaurant - loud r&r - but you can't please everyone). Happy to support local family biz. Beautiful place. Food is excellent. Looks out towards the golf course. The staff are just awesome. We will be back.
This was the 2nd time I've come to eat here as one guest of a large staff party table, and both times I've been sorely... disappointed by the food, personally i wouldnt choose to return. Today it was a barbecue chicken sandwich, which I assumed wouldhave BBQ sauce or something to flavor it. Nope. Chicken was dry, overcooked and bland. Imagine eating raw boring lettuce tomatoand white onion on top of a plain, not seasoned, overcooked piece of white chicken meat placed btw two crispy dry pieces ofplain white toast and youll know what its like to eat this sandwich. Last time I was here I had the same experience with theburger. Dry, not seasoned, and over cooked. Decor is cute and landscape is nice, skip the lunch and maybe get some appies anddesserts, those are slightly better. At least the chicken wings are, the ribs are like rocks. We each had the burger and a beverage for $25 and I can't really say it was a fabulous meal. The burger seemed dry and over... saturated with bacon. The tomatoes weren't ripe and the bun was okay. The fries were good! It was not a good value for themoney we paid. Read more
At a wedding I asked if I could take any of the food that they were going to throw away to homeless people downtown Kelowna,... like salads that would get soggy, the bartender told me that they reuse all the food in coming days, which is really gross. Foodthat guests had already dug through. Yuck. The food wasn't even that great to begin with. Then when I asked again because it'sSO much food to go to waste, and there are many homeless people downtown who could use it, the owner personally came out to tellme that they weren't going to give me any of "their food", "because I said so".
