The attitudes at this location need to improve. I called to place a carry out. The lady was obviously annoyed when she told me... to hold. She just placed the phone down and never picked it back up. Sunny Street Café seems to really be going downhill. My last two visits had extremely poor customer service. After I was given... a seat it took 15 minutes for someone to ask what I would like to drink. Watching people get a seat after me but drinks beforecan be very frustrating (especially when you're hungry). When I finally was asked "has anyone helped you yet?" It took anadditional 7 minutes to finally receive an iced tea. I understand people are busy but you cant ignore someone sitting there for15 minutes. After sitting there for 22 minutes when I was brought the Iced tea, I was told sorry, we are out of biscuits andgravy, which is the reason I was there. I left, drove across the bridge to Denny's and was eating biscuit and gray in less than12 min from leaving your store. My visit before this I drove to your store arrived at 1:45 to find out you close at 2 and not2:30 like the google website still says here today. Only 15 minutes left before close, if the google website that almosteveryone uses had the correct time I would have left my place earlier. Actually this was kind of a surprise to us. It reminds you of an old fashioned diner from back in the day. The servers are... excellent the portions are wonderful the food is really good so go in there and have breakfast and leave happy. Read more
The food is really great for the price. I suggest trying the stuffed biscuits and gravy. It is excellent with a side of hash... browns on top service was great. Prices are good. Always busy. I am extremely disappointed and how this place has gone downhill. The only reason I'm giving it to stars as because our waitress... was absolutely phenomenal. The omelets looked exactly like in the picture. It looks like they cooked a flat egg, througheverything inside of it and then folded it over. The food was just completely cold by the time we even got it and for the pricethat you pay to eat here, I definitely expected much better.
