Reviews for Bob's In Arnolds Park in Arnolds Park, IA
Would not recommend, although the location is convenient, it is overpriced and not even medicore food. Everything like hot... dogs/nachos are tiny and not worth the price, especially when the quality is not good. Read more
Good location, food is what you'd expect from a little joint in the park: decent chicken fingers, hot dogs, taverns, etc.... Service could be much better - seems like a bunch of high school kids who don't know what they're doing run this place. Read more
Would not recommend. No customer service. What a circus. The kids taking orders can?t seem to get the whole order correct. ... Wait times for fried food and hotdogs are about 20-25min. They are charging people for ketchup on food. Be careful orderingchicken strips. They say the small order has 3 strips. It?s actually 2 small strips cut in half. The guy inside the stand(assuming the manager) his response to me asking for my third chicken strip was: ? I cut them in half to make sure that they arecooked and that is what I count as three strips?. The guy didn?t acknowledge the fact that his workers made a mistake and didnot want to rectify any issue on their part. Disappointed to say the least. Read more
I really enjoy the staff, especially the blonde from Colorado! Funny and professional. I recommend the root beer whip, cheese... taverns (no onions), and hotdogs are great (especially for kids)! The BOBdog (no onions) rocks! Read more
I've been here many times and always had a great experience. Great place to get the famous Bobs dog and they have great ice... cream and shakes as well! Definitely recommend! Read more
Pros: beautiful view, relatively quick service given how busy they were. Cons: Bathroom had feces on the floor, and smelled as... though vomit had been mopped up but not sanitized. Tables weren?t being wiped down between use during a global pandemic. Hotdogstasted cheap / made of low quality meat (I know, it?s a hotdog, low expectations to start - but there are good hotdogs outthere. Not at Bob?s). Would expect better from an Okoboji hot spot. The food was really good and the prices were excellent. The heat inside the building, on the other hand, was nearly unbearable.... I can't imagine how awful it must be for staff. We visited over the 4th of July holiday and found relief sitting outside-which says a lot. Despite that, I'm sure we'll be back for some cheese curds and other park staples. Read more
They have no hours listed on FB and on Google they have summer hours posted. Wasn?t until we got there that we saw signs for... fall hours. Update Google or use some kind of social media to let customers know. To be honest I?ll not be coming back to tryagain. Looked like a good change from Spillway and a few other places that have OK ice cream. Read more
