This is the best restaurant in the Lakes area. We went twice while we were on vacation, and would?ve gone more if we had time.... The menu, service, ambience, food and drinks were amazing! Olivia, Your comments are so incorrect. We were sitting at the table next to the hostess stand and personally witnessed your... unprofessional and extremely rude behavior to the staff. You used profanity at the young ladies that were trying to doeverything to help your party. Shame on you! Your vileness was witnessed by several diners. It was so unnecessary. The tableyou requested was ready for you a few minutes after you stormed out. We love this restaurant! Great food and service. My family decided to try out Maxwell's for lunch. They were well-staffed for the lunch rush. Great server and excellent food.... They even gave our child her own "appetizer" plate ahead of the adults. We loved lunch so much we returned for dinner! Read more
Our family has been coming up to Okoboji multiple times a summer for quite a few summers and we typically have our places that... we eat. Over the last few summers we have been trying different eating establishments and today, June 4th, for lunch we decidedto try Maxwell's for the first time and we were impressed with the service and the food. My wife ordered the avocado toast, ourdaughter the kids angel hair pasta, which comes with a Frisbee under the plate for the kids, and myself the seared tunasandwich. All of the food was cooked perfectly, the sauces with each were very good and we all enjoyed the food and atmosphere.We all agree overall a great place to eat and relax. Read more
We are at Arnolds Park every summer, but this was the first time eating at Maxwell's. They had one of the wife and I's favorite... wines so it was off to a good start. We were there as a family and our middle son sometimes has a hard time finding something hewould like. We all enjoyed our meals. My prime rib was cooked to perfection and very tasty. It is served with a horseradishsauce, and I kinda prefer Au Jus. This is not a cheap meal, I think for the 4 of us plus a bottle of wine, the meal was over$150. That withstanding, I would return.
