Took me two months to write this as I needed to really digest what happened. The poutine was okay. The service was awful: he... never spoke one word to me just stared at me coldly (even when I asked a question about the food) except to tell me what I owedand walked away..and never came back until I left( I had another question). I put my order anyway. Wish I didn?t. He stared atme multiple times, and I mean a very cold long stare whenever I got out of my car. It was not cool. Thought maybe it was becauseI was female( not a new thing) but then I watched a very white lady go up and it was a totally different interaction. Wow truly amazingly delicious. Newfie Poutine is AMAZING! But? have you tried their deep fried butter tart ?! You will not... regret. Cooked perfectly and just leaves your mouth watering for more. Read more
The fries are the best and the other food options are also good. We haven't been spoken to rudly as yet however service is short... and abrupt due to them being busy. My biggest complaint is the hours. The hours posted on the building and online mean nothing. 7 out 10 attemps to go there they are closed during their "open" hours. I get they need time off but post accurate hours. Read more
Right across the street from wendy's, Brian's spuds stole our business with the best tasting jumbo hotdogs. (Better than... Costco's by a far cry) excellent price, fast service and great product. What more could you want? Read more
My only complaint is there wasn't enough vegetarian / vegan options. But the poutine was delightful I've had the vegetarian last... time and this time just got a regular one & Both were great also ordered a B.L.T ( bacon on the side) was very yummy andfresh on the hot day today !!! Brian's spuds is a good place and good menu, but the execution and taste is ok. The setup is great, lots of room to order and... wait for the order, lots of room around to eat. The menu looks good but the sausage poutine was just ok, not to be picky, butthe sausage was kind of cold.. but the poutine overall was a good meal... definitely heavy. Would come back to try other itemson the menu for sure. Read more
Wasn't expecting what I got. Specifically with the Miss Piggy Poutine; The fries seemed undercooked, the bacon wasn't well done,... and the onions were thrown on a pan then put on the plate (completely expecting small, caramelized and well done). It doesn'tseem like their poutine game can compete with places like NYC Fries. Read more
