For the first time in the many years we have been to The Prior, we left unhappy. Though the restaurant could use a bit of... updating = please change the carpets lol = generally we have been very happy with both the service and the food served by ThePrior. In the 20+ years of going, sure we have seen some changes. Portions have gotten a bit smaller, a little change inquality, but, nothing major. The mini-munchie platter was a Friday night staple during covid for us! Tonight though, we sat onthe patio and changed things up a bit. Please keep in mind, the server was very good. My daughter ordered fish and chips = theywere good. My wife and i split on the nachos with chicken. We requested no peppers, no black olives, but, a little extra cheesewould be great lol. Well, we counter 6 only chips with cheese. The chicken was tasty, but, cold. The salsa was inedible = wescraped it off. And we counted 3 green onions. It has been about 3 months since we ordered from The Prior, and hope that tonightwas just an off night. Please do not let this be the direction that an Arnprior institution is beginning to follow. I know firsthand the effects of the past 2+ years has been on the service industry, but, destroying the quality to save a dollar is not theanswer. Read more

Gross. Flies everywhere. Our embarrassed server brought us a fly swatter. The floor hasn't been cleaned in over a decade. The... smell of old cooking oil hangs in the air. Our booth was sticky with crumbs everywhere. Just terrible. Avoid this hole. Read more

How they?re closed and only open 5 days a week 8-9 hours a day is confusing. I should say though, based on the reviews, and the... fact that management refuses to acknowledge how far they?ve gone downhill, I?m glad I didn?t get the chance. Read more

Went to the Prior last night. The food I ordered was not too bad, the service was poor and the restaurant floor was dirty and... the furniture and décor was old. If you knew the waitress you would get your food quicker. Also when you asked for additionalitems you did not get them. 2 tables who came into the restaurant after me were served first. The waitress dropped my extra sourcream on the floor, did not clean it up or bring me another one. I had not been to this restaurant in 15 years and I will notgo back. Read more

Great sports bar! Amazing wings and huge patio. Excellant friendly staff and well priced

The Prior Sports Bar is know for thier wings. On Tuesdays wings are half price. Tonight I had the Philly steak. It came with a... heaping load of fries. Service was very good and our waitress stayed on top of things. Decor is good, and they have severaltelevisions to watch sports. Prices are reasonable and if you go just for wings, go on Tuesday but be prepared for a little waitas it's very popular. Read more
