Food great-OWNER DISCRIMINATED AGAINST MY DISABLED 3 year old daughter. We Had a lovely experience until the end of our dine in.... At which point, after I had paid and been sitting finishing my breakfast burrito (delicious by the way and large portioned -which is why I took 30 minutes to get half of it down) I was approached by an elderly woman. My 3 year old daughter who isdisabled and hard of hearing was watching a episode on youtube. Mind you she had been watching this the entire 40 minutes wewere there, no one complained or approached me to turn it off or down. The entire Restaurant was crowded with loud noises oftables being bussed-dishes being washed people chatting yes was a very busy time. I couldnt even hear the phone over all thenoise in the restaurant. However this woman approached me and asked me to turn it off, rude tone as well. She never introducedherself so I assumed she was a customer and I responded to her request informing her that my daughter is hard of hearing. Sheimmediately asked if I had headphones, I told her no and did not feel the need to explain why. The reason I do not is because mydaughter gets over stimulated with them and can not regulate so we don't use them. Also, I am extremely considerate and aware ofmy surroundings, the volume was minimal, in fact I had two patrons in the place approach me to tell me how adorable my daughterwas. Again, no one said anything during the 40 minutes we were in there, but after she asked about headphones and to turn it offin such a rude manner, I reiterated to her my daughter was hard of hearing and that the whole restaurant was loud and she thengot even more hasty and stated; ?shes not even watching it!? So I just told her no sorry, mam I am not turning it down. So shesaid well do you need a box to go? ( I was still eating) and I asked if she was the owner and she confirmed she was. So I toldher yes, boxed my food and left. Normally I don't write about business regardless of experience bu Read more

Excellent food, Good portion size, quality, and service. Building is dated, but this gives an authentic 70's diner feel. Had... both breakfast and dinner there, for both meals we had zero complaints, and would repeat everything we had. The entire staff wemet, friendly and helpful. Go in, enjoy great food!!! Read more

Wonderful place. Great food and tremendous service. The owners care about this place a lot and it shows. It can be a little... pricey, but you will have some leftovers for later. I would avoid this place on Sundays (very busy) but definitely show up onrib night or during happy hour. Love you guys!! Read more

My family & I usually love this diner. Unfortunately, this time, the food wasn't as good as usual. But we got great customer... service, as always! They just need to get some consistency with their chefs. Read more

Always great service. Easy to get in. Good food good service great waitresses. Easy to pay your bill. Being a single man I used... to come here often before covid. Food was always plentiful and tasty! It still is! The owner manages the place well and haswell delegated authority to others who properly manage and run this business. I know I might sound like the owner myself but I'mnot. Just a prior business owner that appreciates good management, good service and good food. I have yet to be disappointed atCJ's despite having eaten scores of meals here (although I will have to admit that they have only been breakfast and lunchesnever dinners). My mother used to swap recipes with Marie Callender down in the Long Beach area where they both lived (anddied). So I'm used to healthy, good tasting food (another belated thanks, Mom, for having so lovingly provided for yourfamily!). Read more

CJ's is a classic no frills All American diner. There is an extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Portions are generous... and prices are reasonable. Service is prompt, efficient, and extremely friendly. I have never been disappointed. Read more
