Search for a good Indian restaurant with great food in southern California still remained elusive. We were group of 14... foodies... With as usual high hopes ended up there to have a great food... However all food remained different types of tomatopuree in chicken and excessive soy sauce!! In name of fusion food of indo Chinese , all the menu items are defeated multipletimes in taste , quality and presence. Mixed chowmine probably could be only USP for this restaurant..rest all items were notupto the mark. Mostly all the items we chose like chicken, shrimp had similar taste of tomato and soya sauce... Mixed Friedrice was really not good. Garlic chicken and chilli chicken almost same state. What I enjoyed is the thums up :) Read more

Where do I even start, we ordered food for party, first of all they misguided us that we require larger quantity so they can... make more money (we sincerely asked them that we have certain guest quantity so how much would we need) Half a tray was morethan enough for us, just hated how much food we had to waste. Secondly the quality, Manchuria was over cooked, spring rolls werenot filled and just soggy, very disappointing. The worst part you have to call so many times just to get in a small order. Thisplace was a reference but didn’t turned out to be a good one, thought one of the best Indo-Chinese food in SoCal but thisplace turned us down, might not order again and wouldn’t recommend anyone. Food was decent. Came pretty quick but was not the best. We came and dined as a party of four. The waitress Lakshita serving our... table on the other hand was the worst. Had a bad attitude the entire time, as if she was being forced to work. Did not enjoy asmuch as I should have due to the bad service. Read more

I do NOT recommend this place. Here’s why...So we went to this place today.. first of all let me tell you if you’ve eaten at... NanKing in NYC or NJ etc.. I do not think this is the same chain, they have the similar name.. but the Menu and food seems likea Nepali version of Nanking. We ordered samosas, spring Rolls, chicken lollipops (the worst on their menu) and Malaysian lomein. Only the samosas were really awesome! The chicken lollipops was -0 on a scale of 1-10 (10 being best), the rest twodishes were just 1 out of 10. Food Looked sad and one step from being stale. If you’re a mumbaikar craving Bombay Chinese foodlike I did, I wanted to eat chicken lollipops, sadly this is not the place at all! The chicken lollipops were just flour andcolor coated deep fried.. no sauce on it.. I couldn’t eat it after a small bite, and it looked gross. Anyways, I gave 2 starsbecause: 1 is for the samosas, and the other 1 is because the manager was polite enough to accept my criticism and not charge mefor the lollipops as I returned the dish after just one bite. I forgot to take pics.. by the time I remembered, I just had thislo-mein. Read more

We visited this place as we were really hungry and opted this place as this is right next to Indian grocery store. I like the... vibe and ambience and also liked the food. Just that I felt the food had really strong masala and garlic flavor, may be I shouldhave asked for a mild flavor. Too much oil, of course this was expected from Indo Chinese though. However even thought I likedthe food, I can’t have this regularly as I feel like it’s hygienic, but…I did enjoy the food. Read more

This place needs a special mention. Indo-Chinese food joints are popular back in India not because its a separate cuisine, but... also the variety of food that they offer all under one roof. You will find the same execution here. Almost all Indianrestaurants will offer you the same dishes under different names and you wont try half of them next time. This place has alwayssatisfied us every time. You can find momos and sizzler (names are different in the actual menu I think but using our old-schoolnames for easy reference). Tandoori and other Indian dishes are available. Methi Chicken is the latest that we have tried hereand is delicious. Read more

I'm a big foodie! I can appreciate when restaurants put in the efforts and do their best yet something goes wrong! I can also... appreciate food that may be presented good, but may lack the taste or say vice-versa. However when every opportunity ismissed... Here is what happened... I order food to-go. The food took a lot longer than suggested it will take over thephone. They messed up on my order and called me 10 minutes after I left and asked me to come back to pick up something theydidn't add in my order. When I got home the quantity of the food was half of what you'd get if you order in person but I paidthe same price. There were 2 dishes that were missing. There was no effort in presenting the food. I ordered, 1 Gobi Manchurian(wet) 2 Gobi Manchurian (dry), fried rice, sweet corn soup, manchaw soup, haka noodles and American chopisue. Neither of thedishes looked like what they should. For 2 I don't know what they looked like since I never got them. The flavor was anythingbut what you'd expect for those dishes to taste. I paid a premium price to order food to go, did not get what I wanted, foodtasted anything but what's expected, Quality of food was stale and inconsistent. Overall, I had a very horrific experiencehere! What boggles my mind, is they have Indo-Chinese in their name, yet, the food quality, taste or presentation feels like anovice's attempt to cook for the first time! I would NOT recommend this spot! :-( Read more
