Channa poori is amazing. Spicy chole and 3 poories. Also masala dosa is amazing. Huge portions. One order is good for 4 people.

Great...Just great. If you want to eat authentic Indian mainly South Indian food, then this is the place. My son who lives in US... for last 5 years for studies knew this place. So we went there. The menus were beautifully printed with Indian artisticpictures. Lots of vegetarian and non vegetarian options, As well as both North Indian and South Indian cuisine. But as the namesuggests it's more inclined to South Indian cuisine. I guessed from the name that the owner is from Andhra or Telangana fromIndia. She welcomed us warmly and helped us to decide the order. She even came back to ask how did we find the taste. The tastewas just great. We had ordered Masala Dosas and were surprised that each dish contained two dosas. Everything served here is inlarge portions. The dosa had a slightly different taste than Udupi dosa, more like Andra one...which was great ???????? andspicy and tasty as we Indians love it to be. And why we loved this place more cause to our surprise there was amongst allposters on the walls....a poster of great Indian King Shivaji Maharaj....????????????????????. This time we tried their Mother's day set menu with idli, vada, Pongal, upma, halwa and dosa. The chutneys were, as always,... excellent and so was the sambar. What was different this visit was that service was much faster. We were glad to see that. Foodwise we have always enjoyed it here. No complaints there! Read more

5 star for food quality and taste. 2 stars for service. After waiting 45 mins in the line for a seat, we were unattended for... almost about 30 mins, had to literally get up and call the waiter to take out order. Food was amazing, but without the serviceit isn't any good. Read more

Is it possible to not even give a star? This place is too over hyped. It didn?t reach the expectations i had. Honest opinion:... i got really excited to try out their podi dosa, and ordered 2 types of dosa?s with podi and idly as well. Honestly 4 peoplecan share one dosa, since the quantity is huge. But the taste wasn?t that great. It was half cooked and i can see the uncookedbatter here and there . Too much of butter and too much of podi spoiled the taste. Overall the taste and food is average. Very exceptional food quality and service. The staff was very kind, patience and very hard working. They helped us and took care... of us despite being short-staffed.The only reason for 3 star is that they charged 18% gratuity which WAS NOT SHARED among thewaiters but goes to management. Read more
