I have seen many commercials and always wanted to try pop eyes. I told my husband it'd make me happy to try their food. He got... me food from this location tonight. Drove 30 Minutes to come home, the food was still warm. I really liked it, was a gooddinner. We got the two popcorn shrimp, combo and platter with french fries and Iiked the rice and beans with the biscuit.Lemonade was pretty good too! I understand that this is a new place and there are probably still a few kinks to work out but that doesn't help the fact that... you don't get the food you ordered. Surf-n-turf should come with chicken tenders and, right? Well I got maybe 3 shrimp and abunch of crumbs like I went to LJS. Tenders were completely missing. I was supposed to get a large fry, I got half of a small.The Dr. Pepper was flat too. Maybe I'll wait a few months and make another 30m drive and see if they've improved or not. This place has horrible service! I asked to make an update to my order at the window and they told me I'd have to go back... through the drive through eventhough there was no car was behind me because of some timer they're supposedly on. The mean ladysaid her manager came up with this brilliant idea. So what do I do, I get out of line to go back through the drive thru to onlywait 5mins for my order. I asked the mean lady what was the point of the timer if I'm still waiting 5mins for food. Then when Igot my food the chicken was under cooked. I'll never visit this location ever again! which is very unfortunate since thislocation is the closed to me. But, I'll take the drive to the Buena park location for now on. The popcorn shrimp was hard and over cooked. And the fried chicken breast under the crust skin was slimey and barely any meat... and its like $5 for one breast. I would totally pay that for a great fried chicken breast, this was not great. And my sauceswere all sticky and my biscuit was hard as a rock. And they left out my butter and honey after asking for it like 3x's. Notimpressed at all. Read more
This is the second time I have had food to be left our of my order. Tonight ordered food for my family paid almost $80.00 and... they forgot the large Mac n Cheese. I was there about a month ago and I order chicken tenders and a chicken meal and they forgotthe whole chicken tender order. They are sloppy. People pay for food and they should get it. There is a reason why we getreceipts to double check the order. I am done with this location. I would rather drive across town to ensure my order iscorrect. Do better! Read more
