This was the first time I ate at Firehouse Subs. I like the fact that they donate proceeds to Firemen my father was on the... Denver Fire department he retired in 1975. I purchased a couple of there empty pickle buckets and a bottle of their BBQ Sauce itcomes in a jar shaped like a Fire Hydrant. My sister bought me are jar of the sauce years ago and I keep dried chili peppersthat I grow in it. As far as the subs go they were good but to be totally honest I rank them 2 out of 4 between Jersey Mike's #1Subway #3 and Jimmy John's #4. I was there but 10 minutes. I ordered I said no mayo no Italian dressing and cherry peppers on the side. They put mayo and... Italian dressing on my sandwich and for got my cherry peppers on the side I had to ask the busy staff get some. They wereworking very hard. Very disappointing! I waited a little over a half an hour just to order even though there was only one person ahead of me, than... when I ordered I only had a partial amount on a gift card the rest cash so they made me reorder from the other register afterwaiting almost 15 more minutes. I finally order and I ask for a few specific things to be added on my sandwich 3 separate timesand even the receipt says these items but yet when I get home not only are the items not on it, but I'm given the incorrectsandwich that I didn't order and it was gross/soggy. Placed a mobile order for a simple sandwich with a ton of add on's (because veggies and pickled items rock.) And I asked for an... extra side pickle, hoping for an extra quarter slice of pickle. I went in 5 min prior to my expected order time because theywere not busy and my order was ready and waiting. I was welcomed warmly, picked up my order, thanked the employee andleft. When I got into my car I looked into my HUGE bag and saw that there was a small container and it had 5 pickle slices-JACKPOT!! Awesome food, awesome service and great staff!
