So my star rating is a bit of a paradox. I wanted to give it a 3 but the fact they had hot saurkraut raised an entirely... mediocre Rueben (my favorite sandwich) up a bit. Great cheese, meh dressing, nothing special pastrami and downright....MEHHHHHHHH marble rye. Actually, the rye bread was the worst part of the sandwich. I don't know where they get their breadfrom but they should consider changing it because it was 3/10 bread. Did it contain toppings for you to hold and devour? Sure. It was bland and tasteless and the toasting on it wasn't very good. I doubt that was because of their sandwich presseither. ALL THAT SAID though, their spicy saurkraut saved the day. That was the best part. If you're in the area and walkingby, give it a try. You probably won't be disappointed. I wouldn't go out of my way for it though. Read more
I was hungry for a good Reuben and searched for one nearby. Lloyd?s came up well reviewed so I tried it out. It was cold... outside and I was ready for a good Reuben! The guy at the counter was really nice. He took my order and had the sandwich outfast. The Reuben was hot, the cheese was melted, and the bread was crisp. Perfect Reuben! This place is aptly named. As a vegetarian, I have a hard time finding good sandwiches. This is my new go-to sandwich shop. ... This place had great options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. I built my own sandwich with ingredients like green chilis,avocados, and thick slices of varous cheeses in generous quantities. When you get your sandwich, you can top it with pickles,peppers, relish, olives, and hot sauce to your heart's content. The chocolate chip walnut cookie was great; soft and chewy witha hint of crunch. They serve cucumber-infused water, which I thought was a nice touch. Read more
