I want to like this place. It?s a no-frills pub with a pretty vast menu. The servers were nice and they had the World Cup on as... well as college football for other patrons. However, it is 100% unacceptable to have printed menus with EVERY price redacted. Itwould cost them less than $100 to print all new menus, and even less to put a QR code on every table. I have to say of all the restaurants I've been to in downtown Arvada this place takes the cake. The food is the exact flavors I... am looking for, the menu is simple but doesn't lack options. I also got the kids Mac and Cheese and as I sit here writing thiseating my toddlers leftovers I can say this is some of the best kids mac and cheese I've had in some time. The Grandview is a staple and a must try if you?re in Olde Town! There?s a wide variety of menu items and I?ve enjoyed... everything I?ve ordered here. Great staff and service as well, especially their bartender, Kay, who is amazing! She?s friendly,welcoming, and never misses a beat when she?s running the show! I've been to Grandview a few times pre COVID-19 and I'll be honest the food was good, but service was just alright. Recently... went back when a friend was visiting and we had Summer as our waitress. I came early for a lunch and had to try their wings. The 4 star reviews on Google kinda kept me away for awhile. Not sure why... the rating is low I thought the food was great. Fried pickles, traditional wings and a side salad. I almost never order saladsor side salads at restaurants because the greens are typically pitiful. I ordered the side salad with the house citrusvinaigrette because I saw one being delivered to another table and it looked that good, and it didn't disappoint. Went out sampling a couple places in Olde Town Arvada...The Grandview Tavern by far was the best for food, drink and service.... The beer was poured to the top of the glass. The half salad was large enough for two and had a variety of ingredients that hadour attention. The steak tacos (six) were seasoned and tasty. We asked for lime slices and thought our server would forget sinceshe was busy...but she came through and was pleasant. YUM! Read more
