The servings are generous and the food is DELICIOUS! We had dinner so our meal included tomato soup and a cornmeal muffin, I... believe. That alone was delightful. Yes the portions are huge. Husband ordered the omelette which he liked I thought it was bland. He also ordered the biscuits and... gravy and these were extremely dry no amount of gravy could make them eatable. I had the Turkey club and this was delicious andthe best of our entire order. Stumbled upon this place by accident on a road trip. Great food and dessert! The corned beef Rueben was to die for as was the... banana cream pie. My husband enjoyed the meatloaf and chili. They are pet friendly and allowed our dog in the restaurant. Ourserver, Ari, also brought him water. They have a lovely grass area behind the restaurant for pets to run around. Great service.Ari was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely have to stop back on the way home and try another dessert. They also had acute little shop and I wanted to buy everything. Had dinner. I had the chicken pot pie and baked potato, loaded. I thought the pie was Excellent. Nice fluffy top and the... ingredients were excellent and the right amount of chicken. The baked potato was good size and the bacon was excellent. My wifehad the fish and chips. He said the fish was great, and she got Sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Recently tried Black Bear Diner again and was impressed by this location. Staff was excellent, friendly, quick. Food was cooked... well. While prices are a tad more expensive compared to other restaurants in the area. But portions are on the large side andgenerous. You wob't leave hungry. Coffee is good and served steaming hot like we like it. Location is clean except for obviousdust around TV, AC inlets and plastic roofing decor over kitchen front. Read more
