We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception in the ballroom at Mountain View Chalet on 9/24/2022 and it far exceeded our... expectations! We are still receiving compliments from our 62 guests about the outstanding experience! The cocktail hour wasexcellent and everyone especially enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, oysters, lamb chops, mozzarella and tomatoes, pigs in a blanket,etc! The pasta in vodka sauce was excellent and then came a fresh garden salad with a yummy dressing. For dinner, everyone wasoffered either prime rib, Chilean sea bass, vegetarian or a gluten free entree. The prime rib was prepared to each personspreference - rare, med rare, well. The potatoes and mixed vegetables that accompanied the dinner were also delicious. Many ofour guests commented on the high level of service as everything was served timely and hot! The wedding cake and tray of creampuffs, carrot cake and cannoli’s on each table were delicious. The full service bar offered endless cocktails of choice. Thebreakfast for our 30 guests the next day in the same room was amazing … omelets to order with many choices of filling, thepancakes and French toast were the best I ever had - so light and fluffy! There was plenty of bacon, delicious potatoes, freshfruit, muffins … etc. Lastly, our utmost thanks and gratitude to Demos, Laura, Kathy and the other servers and bartenders formaking our wedding spectacular!! We visited the Mountain View Chalet on Saturday night for the first time and it was wonderful. The food was outstanding, as... was the relaxed atmosphere and the fantastic service by our server Manny. We enjoyed the bruschetta and Thai spring rollsappetizers, salads, and the entrees, which included the Surf and Turf, Center Cut Filet Mignon, and Chicken Parmigiana. Alsothe delicious chocolate mousse cake and coffee at the end. It was altogether a great evening and we will definitely bereturning in the future. Read more
My husband and I just had dinner at the Chalet. Its was amazing! The host, the servers and the bus boy were so attentive and... pleasant. The food matched the environment and service. I made reservations for my moms birthday for a Saturday afternoon. Two days later, the day before her birthday they called to... tell me whoever took my reservation shouldn’t have done so because they didn’t have a table for us. I had to find anotherrestaurant and we looked forward to going here. Since that happened, we will not be making reservations here in the future. Ifyou screw up, try to be more accommodating. This was the first time we went here and the food was excellent. The service was good. The decor was excellent. I had the center... cut filet mignon a la bleu.
