Eating here is always a special treat. All the food is bold and flavorful. It's one of the only places I could order absolutely... anything on the menu and trust that I would like it. She - the chef Adanech Asghedon - had me at the Empnada (see photo). We ordered Wow, can I say this loud and clear - that's... the best empanada I ever had? My wife of Dominican heritage concurs. Okay, so after empanada: We wanted to sample a wide arrayand ordered these: Key Wot Doro Wot Beg Tibs Mesir Wot Tikil Gomen Shiro Dubai Wot MoFongo It was a feast for threepeople. Our palette was in Nirvana - then the chef showed up with a coruscating smile and left us mesmerized. Congrats ChefAda, on a fantastic execution. The staff are amazing. Our food was delicious. The cuisine is authentic with no extra frills. Probably the best food I?ve had in Jersey in a long... time. There?s really good vegan/vegetarian options and a little bit of everything for everyone. We had Ethiopian and Dominicanparts of the menu. The empanadas are amazing and the injera is to die for. Jose was our server and he was very attentive. Wewill definitely make this our spot. The ambiance was amazing and on point with subtle Ethiopian music playing through thespeakers. Read more

Food was very good. We got both Dominican and Ethiopian. I really enjoyed the Dominican while my husband enjoyed the Ethiopian.... Large portions. Met the owner, a lovely woman. Service needs some work. Two servers, nice, but not experienced. Read more
