Visited at the end of the season, so the menu was missing a few items. Food was great, drinks were good, and service was... friendly and prompt. The only downside was the AC was blasting on an already chilly night on the boardwalk. Read more

WAY too expensive. Food was not great at all. Usually don’t like to write reviews like this but I rather warn people before... wasting their time/money. Not worth the price. I got the Ropa Vieja, chicken empanadas and sliders. Super dry ! And no flavor. Icome from a Puerto Rican and colombian background and our food is similar, that was not authentic Cuban food. If you read thisbefore you see the other reviews, look at the other reviews talking about flavor. Definitely was not the only one who realized.Hopefully this helps in your decision. Don’t make the same mistake I did ! Read more

Just enjoyed a very nice lunch here at Cubacan bar and restaurant. Enjoyed a Cuban sandwich which was very authentic.... DELICIOUSLY moist and flavorful along with an amazing coconut mojito and okay spritzers. The sandwich and mojitos were actuallymuch better than their Miami counterparts. The menu has a lot of cuban favorites we will definitely come back and give a try.Service was just OK. Nothing to write home about. Their bartenders could definitely use improvements with customerservice/customer interaction. Read more

A cool interior... We dined outdoors facing the Boardwalk and ocean. We mixed it up ordering most of their appetizers for... dinner. The appetizers had a Cuban flair and they were very good. Cocktail list was extensive... The beer list was limited..Overall a nice place... We'll be back!! Read more

We had the pulpo salad and the mussels y chorizo. We ordered a bottle of moscato. The food and service was spectacular, our... server was a friendly Spaniard woman, played Latin music, and ambiance was on point. The back server was eager, he was clearingquickly. After we said no he had the plates in his hand and at that point just take the plates, I literally was pulling octopusoff of a plate as he was leaving. It was 90 percent done but very annoying to be rushed. I would go back not totally against it,very beautiful view of the water and moon. Read more

Fun location right on the boardwalk. Friendly staff. Great sangria!! Small children's menu. I had the Garlic Shrimp which was... tasty. We had the fried plaintains as an appetizer. It's not the most authentic Cuban cuisine I've had but it was still worth atry. Read more

I wish there was some flavor. We tried the Cuban place at Asbury park boardwalk and tbh it was very blah. The arroz conpollo... (sp.) was a poor representative of Cuban cuisine. The chicken was very dry and the overall dish lacked flavor. We both had someand it was very bland. Tasteless really. A super generic dish you can make with some leftovers at home and knorr rice mix. Thesalad with garlic shrimp was slightly better but not by much. The dressing saved it a bit, however the shrimp was ok not toomuch garlic and just a bit too cooked. It was ok and passable but nothing great. The margaritas have way way too much lime. Tothe restaurants credit they took 15% off the chicken dish. Overall pricey disappointing. Cuban food is supposed to be a bitspicy and definitely should never lack flavor. Read more

Good place for drinks and dinner. They’re both delicious. You can definitely tell they’re extremely understaffed. The... waitress was doing her best but it all took much longer than it should have. I’d have given it 5 star if the service didn’ttake so long because the food was great. Read more
